This is a track that is different in a lot of ways. This comes from someone who hasn't done a commercial single over the past three-plus years. The last time he was featured on a single was when he collab with Kidd Amaze and Rum Try Forgiveness remix. The space has made people not know of Tyron's musical catalog. Tyron hasn't had any albums or records come out as he was primarily independent and as of today is still very much an independent artist. I going to separate the artist here from the music because a lot of people are going to look at the person and judge the music based on the story of the man behind the lyrics, but I think that this is a different feel and could be a good song if given a chance to breathe and be out on its own without baggage. Recorded in Studio60 and took 2 years to make this is a single that talks about harsh environments, how being in that environment can change a person, and how even when you find a way out of that place it doesn't make you whole, nor does it heal the scars that you got from it.
The single starts with hums in the background and Tyron goes into rapping. The first verse talks about how even through reincarnation he still dealt with bad situations. He tries to do good and live right but is around the wrong kind of people, people that have done things to survive and he feels that he has to do the same but because he hasn't crossed the line people assume he is wrong on both sides: on the one hand, upstanding citizens think he is guilty by association even if he hasn't done anything, on the other a pretender who doesn't want to commit to doing what needs to be done. The chorus talks about how he should change. He shouldn't follow what is leading him. He keeps going back to his old ways when he doesn't have to and he is wildin. Rolls credits. The second verse is much of the same where he talks about how he has been damaged physically and mentally and that damage affects him and the people around him and it is a cycle that continues even in death that carries on and follows him. This is a single about living flawed, doing bad things and checking yourself from going down a wrong road.
(Lyrics)
I have died a thousand times
And reborn a thousand more
From past crimes, that I committed
Only a shitty life is what is in store
Out of stock is the Fuck you
Fresh out of the sympathy
Hop into a may bach,
Only to get jack on 7th street
He’d been packed, he was on a mission
Dogs that lack nutrition, never hunger
The pain was easy to stomach
Cause the gain rolled like thunder
Mess around and get torn to sunder
Wonder what it’s like on the other side
Me and my niggas always been down to ride
We don’t play around, this is no slip and slide
They will wet you up and let you air dry
See I, found my yellow tape, turn into crimson
Caught in this new kind of mental prison
Where the four walls are PCs
And it is best not to be me
Accept my fate and be a good soldier
Be locked and loaded while in the holster
Fuck did you say, you talking to me
What did you say, Dog let it be
No, what do you say, Trying to test me?
Nigga I don’t play, what’s it going to be?
Acting real tough, still a bitch to me?
Oh, it’s like that, well let's see?
Swing nigga, please try me?
I’m not the one, you going to learn,
There you go again
Falling back into your old ways
Habits die hard,
At least that’s what the people say
You know you can do better
Why do you light the fuse
With so much on the line
Why play like you have nothing to lose
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (Wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (Wildin)
We are all crabs in a barrel, just trying to eat
It doesn’t mean we’re feral, not trying to be neat
Whatever is in hand, anything that is within reach
Not trying to make a band,
only something between the teeth
Come round my hood,
Wolves are the least of your trouble
Fuck the infrastructure,
We have built lives off the rubble
Huddle up, just to survive
Cuddling means being desensitized
Grown hard a bitter
Blame my environment
I don’t care for your empathy
I don’t seek your tolerance
If a line is cross
It will be met with violence
Little niggas here run with sticks
Long as a witch’s broom,
Try not the flinch
The tricks up here
Hate all kinds of ticks
One slight you get hit
With birds coming thick
Have to pick your body up
With some of the toothpicks
The truth is, this was a sickness
Society fails to diagnosis
They sleeping out here like comatose
Woke to all the wrong thing
Stoke about them long wings
Coke up on that good sling
Choke up on that tight string
Broke from those brass rings
Rope into these terrible flings
Kings couldn’t have it any better
Seeing people still not together
Fuck did you say, you talking to me
What did you say, Dog let it be
No, what do you say, Trying to test me?
Nigga I don’t play, what’s it going to be?
Acting real tough, still a bitch to me?
Oh, it’s like that, well let's see?
Swing nigga, please try me?
I’m not the one, you going to learn,
There you go again
Falling back into your old ways
Habits die hard,
At least that’s what the people say
You know you can do better
Why do you light the fuse
With so much on the line
Why play like you have nothing to lose
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (Wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (wildin)
Wildin out, (Wildin)
