Well, having seen The Big Bang Theory, it's a miracle I didn't stab my own eyes out with a fork, so I'm voting for The Inbetweeners, which I have never seen and likely never will if it's being put in the same company as the former.

That's actually quite a tough topic for me personally to choose.
The Inbetweeners is a weird one because it's spot on in terms of how realistic the show is, Looking back i knew a lot of people who were essentially the characters of the inbetweeners and Simon Bird who plays Will is one of the funniest guys on TV.

But the Big Bang Theory is an amazing show, the cast is amazing and it guarantees laughter for 30 minutes solid, and like you said Sheldon is one of the best TV characters for years, i wish i knew someone like him :)

So my vote has to go to The Big Bang Theory.

The Big Bang Theory is one of the most annoying things on TV. The Inbetweeners is hilarious. Inbetweeners gets my vote.

I do like The Inbetweeners a hell of a lot, I've met so many Jay's, it's unbelievable :)
Also the writer's are apparently writing a film version (Although i did read it on wikipedia).

I thinks one of the best sitcoms in years.
It's just a shame we have to wait so long for E4 to air episodes.
It's on Channel 4 in the morning now which is awesome.
