I did a gig at TJ's in Leamington tonight, was rather shiiite, and the tech team were godawful, but it was their first proper experience with live bands.
Butchering Pink was the highlight, bahah.

Which song, and I wanna see a video, because anything Pink writes needs to be shit upon. |

Incorrect, Pink is wonderful, and successful.
Unlike of-the-moment shitty metalcore. Which is expendable beyond belief.

Anyway, off I trot, I should be doing my makeup before braving the gale-force winds to the bus stop.

Wow, metalcore is a marketable passing fad? Who would have thought eh? I mean it has it roots back in the 80's and what not so, yeah, its definately a fad. Edited by user 19 November 2009 23:45:43(UTC)

There's a world of difference between the bands like Atreyu or Avenged Sevenfold who are labelled metalcore and good ol' proper hardcore & metal crossover bands from the 80s like DRI & Suicidal Tendencies. Metalcore IS a modern fad. Sure, it's got roots in blah blah, but so does every other musical fad, it's not like many musical movements start from nothing. |

Crossover can be damn cool at times. Metalcore is just wrong. But then again, so is Pink. |

Gawd, I hate this Obama Girl so much.
I hate it when I listen to a song, and I figure the lyrics wrong.
They make so much more sense the way I hear!
