Mantra is the third studio album by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers. It is due for release in February 2025, through Summers' long-time label, Studio 60 Records. Work began on the project as early as 2016 though the record was plagued with delays on account of the "uncertain" future of Studio 60 Records at the time which saw an array of artists unable to officially release music due to distribution issues. Though primarily a country record like her previous efforts, "Mantra" incorporates elements of other genres such as Disco, Pop and Rock. Summers has described the sonics of the album as having a "Country Girl heart with a Big City Girl flare". The album was executive-produced by Ellie-Grace with additional work from LosOscuros, Preeti, Daniel Tashian and Roseline Meadows.

Even in the earliest days of planning and conception of the album; Ellie-Grace set out to create an "extremely personal and intimate" record which would see many quotes and phrases used by her and her family members intertwined throughout the album. The title of "Mantra" was chosen early on in the project, a nod to the mantras and "words of wisdom" Summers' family would impart over the years. The album also has a recurring theme of luck, gambling and charms, inspired by her now late grandfather who, in Ellie-Grace's words "[sic] would come up with little quips and phrases to downplay his gambling addiction. They were annoyingly endearing and outlandishly bizarre, he'd always get a free pass from us".

Ellie-Grace Summers wrote:
"I have always been open and honest within my music. I can't write about things that I either haven't experienced or been impacted by. My first two records were and both still are very personal but this ones digs even deeper. It's not just me telling my stories, I'm sharing more of my personality and stuff about my family here. It's all done very subtly, however. On the surface, the songs could be about anyone and anything. I always want my listeners to be able to relate and have the songs be just that little bit vague enough so that whoever is listening can imprint their own lives on it. The intimacy of "Mantra" is in the little details. Certain lines are straight out of my mother or father's mouths. Phrases, quips, inside jokes that are passed around in the Summers' household that wouldn't register with anyone else because they don't know the backstory. Things like horse riding, card games, movie references - to most people, it all just sounds like metaphor and wordplay but I know that those closest to me will feel certain parts of the record so deeply because they 'get it'. They've lived this with me."

An abundance of over 250 songs were written over the last four years for possible inclusion for the project, with over 100 actually being recorded and on standby for the final incarnation. While not initially setting out to make a concept record which follows a story line, in 2019 Ellie-Grace decided to refine the plethora of songs in her vault to creative a loose narrative for the album which sees her break away from a toxic relationship, embark on some self discovery and then find a new love.

Ellie-Grace Summers wrote:
"Mantra was never intended to have a cohesive plot. It was certainly going to have a strong theme but not a step by step chapter of events. With over 100 songs recorded, I had touched on so many different emotions, perspectives and scenarios that it was easy for me to pick and choose a story out of it all. As these songs individually told such personal and strong stories, I thought, why not just create one big one? So from last year, most of the creative process was just perfecting the songs that suited the bill on tweaking what needed to be. It was always difficult creating possible track lists for this record. With so many songs I loved and also growing sick of playing back the same ones, tracks were constantly switched out for each other. I could never nail it, though. When I decided to make a loose story out if it, however, they just slotted in themselves and playing it through just finally made sense. For once, the 'Mantra' sequence felt right."

Upon rekindling her relationship with Ryan Ross Hernandez, the pair also formed a brand new creative partnership and simultaneously began working together on a collaborative album, tentatively titled "Amongst the Madness". Work on both of their solo projects were effectively paused and prioritised differently while the new joint project took centre stage and became the main focus for both respective artists behind the scenes. After dedicating much of their time to work on the "Amongst the Madness" project, both artists have returned to their individual works in 2025, with Hernandez releasing his "Late Fragment" album and Summers reigniting the "Mantra" album.

Thus far, four official singles have been released from the project. The lead single, "Call On Me" features guest vocals from British singer, Billy. The song earned Ellie-Grace her second #1 single and was met with strong praise in regards to its up-tempo, disco-country crossover production as well as the chemistry between herself and Khan. "Monday's Love" was sent to radio as the album's second single and also received unanimous praise for its lyrical content and "fresh", "creative" production but fared slightly less well than the previous single, peaking at #4. "Figure It Out" became the third single to be lifted from the project, seeing Ellie continue to fuse her country stylings with a more pop leaning polish. The track narrowly missed out on the top spot, debuting and peaking at #2, respectively. "Silly Little Thing Called Love" was officially serviced as the fourth single, supporting the album one week ahead of its release.

Artist: Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Mantra
Genre(s): Spoken Word
Length: 1:01
Writers: EG. Summers
Producer: EG. Summers
Label: Studio 60 Records
From The Album: Mantra

Mantra is a spoken word piece recorded by American singer-songwriter, Ellie-Grace Summers. It serves as the opening track and intro to Summers' third studio album of the same name. The one-minute, one-second monologue was recorded by Summers back in 2017 and was always pencilled to be the opening track on the record. "Mantra" sets the tone and embodies the journey of the album which reflects on the personal themes of family sayings and the story arc of confidence, knowing your worth and deserving better. This introduction shows Ellie-Grace explore the power of words, encouraging her listeners to put positive thoughts into the universe and listening off affirmations and mantras to create love and happiness, before leading into the next track "Monday's Love".

We often forget the power that words have.
Sometimes it's unintentional, other times we purposely dismiss them -
Whether out of sheer ignorance or self-preservation.
"Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me".
We all know that isn't true.
Words cut deep.
But words can also open up minds.
Words can shift perceptions.
Words can shape beliefs.
Words drive our behavior.
Words have power.
Words shape our world.
We are our words.
We shouldn't have to hang around and wait for someone else to speak up -
To reassure us, to validate us, to uplift us.
We have an abundance of these tools we can use to lift our minds and energy.
Words have power - choose them wisely.

"I love myself, no matter what."
"I am an infinite being, capable of extraordinary things."
"I am thankful."
"I accept abundant love, happiness, and positive energy into my life."
"I am not a drop in the ocean. I am the entire ocean in one drop."
"I am."
"I'm not just Monday's Love..."

Artist(s): Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Monday's Love
Genre(s): Country, Pop, Disco
Length: 3:33
Writer: E.G Summers
Producer: Daniel Tashian, Ellie-Grace Summers
Label: Studio 60
From The Album: Mantra

Monday's Love is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers. The song serves as the second track and was also released as the second single from "Mantra". The single release followed 10 months on from the release of "Call On Me" which featured Billy on account of many financial issues at Summers' record label, Studio 60. Production of the song was handled by Daniel Tashian and Summers. It was also written entirely by Ellie-Grace. The song sees Ellie-Grace progress from her typical country music roots, incorporating elements of disco and dance music into the single. "Monday's Love" has been noted for its retro disco styling and its fusion with classic country music. The song details a relationship which is very one sided. Summers knows her partner is either seeing other women or is simply not as invested in the relationship as she is but, rather than let it go, her need to feel wanted keeps her there.

The song was written in 2017 with a more acoustic and ballad like structure originally. With Ellie-Grace and many artists on the Studio 60 roster not being able to officially release music due to financial trouble at the label, the track remained unreleased for almost three full years. Over that time, Summers re-recorded "Monday's Love" several times over, growing to love the song as a personal favourite and wanting to bring it to its full potential. "Monday's Love" went on to become a disco song which incorporates elements of country instrumentation and layered vocals. Summers felt that the song had two sides to it; "the rush and naivety" and "the underlying sadness". The official version would go on to represent the former while Summers plans on also releasing a "rawer" acoustic version in the future which captures the heartbreak.

Just a girl who wants to be madly in love
Does anyone think that it's a crime?
Always the same games, I've had about enough
False starts and foul play all the time
Bouquets and chocolate boxes just to keep me sweet
Hollow words and cliché lines I know he doesn't mean
If I was smart, I'd concede and give it up
But I like to pretend that something is mine

So I give him what he wants
He can have my days and nights
Roam corners of my mind to haunt
He can take and waste my time
And I play it all off so nonchalant
But I hope he'll stay in my arms tonight

And off he goes in his old pick-up truck
It's Tuesday morning and I'm just Monday's love
Will another girl soon be screaming his name?
Will he treat her in the very same way?
Treat him like he's mine but I know it's up for debate
Sure he has many more hearts to go break
I wait and hope that when push comes to shove
He wants a little more of Monday's love

Said that I want to meet his friends
Feels like I'm always waiting on "later"
Love my company but he's never called me "girlfriend"
Swear this grown-up stuff looked better on paper
But it's that look in his eyes that keeps me here
Sound of his voice makes me smile from ear to ear
I just go around like a kid playing pretend
Another airy damsel waiting on her heart breaker

So I give him what he needs
Knowing I won't get much in return
Got my heart in between his teeth
Should be a cause for concern
But I'm used to letting it bleed
Yeah, I'm preparing to get burnt

And off he goes in his old pick-up truck
It's Tuesday morning and I'm just Monday's love
Will another girl soon be screaming his name?
Will he treat her in the very same way?
Treat him like he's mine but I know it's up for debate
Sure he has many more hearts to go break
I wait and hope that when push comes to shove
He wants a little more of Monday's love

Never got his hands out of the cookie jar
Got a real sweet tooth but is it going too far?
He might never want to settle down
But can I keep being played around?
Life's full of flavors and he wants a taste
He's my favorite one but I ache from the chase
Does he think of me when he's all alone?
Or is Friday's love entertaining him at home?

And off he goes in his old pick-up truck
It's Tuesday morning and I'm just Monday's love
Will another girl soon be screaming his name?
Will he treat her in the very same way?
Treat him like he's mine but I know it's up for debate
Sure he has many more hearts to go break
I wait and hope that when push comes to shove
He wants a little more of Monday's love

Artist(s): Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Giddy!
Genre(s): Country, Pop
Length: 3:16
Writer: E.G Summers, C. Hudson
Producer: Ellie-Grace Summers
Label: Studio 60
From The Album: Mantra

Giddy! is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers for her third studio album, Mantra. It appears as the third track on the long-awaited record. "Giddy!" was written by Ellie-Grace and Christopher Hudson in 2017, during one of their many sessions together. Production of the song was also handled entirely by Summers herself. "Giddy!" is a mid-tempo country and pop crossover track, featuring uncredited soft backing harmonies from co-writer Christopher Hudson as well as a prominent banjo arrangement that pushes the country music elements to the forefront alongside Summers' thick Southern accent. The song was written as a follow-up to the story of "Monday's Love", which is placed before "Giddy" in the album's track listing. Lyrically, "Giddy!", is a rather tongue-in-cheek, anecdotal break-up song. Summers has finally gained the confidence to leave her adulterous, egotistical partner in order to focus on herself and knowing that she deserves better. Fellow musician Erich Hess is referenced in the bridge of the track.

Hudson and Summers has multiple studio sessions over the span of 2017 and 2018. After successfully creating "Monday's Love", which would later go on to become a top 5 single for the singer, Ellie-Grace wanted to "continue the story" from that song and give the girl "a happy ending". She and Hudson then set out to create this follow-up in their next studio meeting, months before Ellie had decided herself that the entire album would tell a story. "Giddy!" originally had more upbeat, country-disco leaning production akin to its sister song "Monday's Love", however, Summers wanted a clear differentiation from the two and also feared that due to some of the innuendo filled lyrics within "Giddy!", a livelier production could make the song come across as plain comical. Summers then decided to produce the song herself, giving it a far more subdued soundscape in order to have the listener pay more attention to the biting lyricism and exasperation in her voice.

Trusted my heart like only the fools do
Waited it out, hoping you'd play a new tune
The same old record echoed through the room
Buck it up now, boy, buck it up now
Backwoods Casanova in your beat up jeans
Blowing your own smoke, lost in pipe dreams
Yellowing it all and I'm trying to get clean
Buck it up now, boy, buck it up now

All bravado like you're some sharpshooter
I'd love to know who even started that rumor
Though I must admit you can sure fire from the hip
In just one blink, you go off that quick

Curse you and the horse you rode in on
I'm not afraid to draw pistols at dawn
It's all cool with me, you can stick to your ploy
Go and get on out here, go on and ride 'em, cowboy
Giddy up, giddy up!
Giddy up, giddy up!
Hope you're in a short queue for a lot of bad luck

I zealously glossed all over the truth
Fingers in my ears like some stubborn youth
Painted myself pretty for a man so uncouth
Buck it up now, girl, buck it up now
Guess I was just another way to kill time
Thought I could make this outlaw mine
But this was never his only rodeo ride
Buck it up now, girl, buck it up now

And I won't miss you or the smell of your liquor
Funnily enough, I don't know which ignites quicker
You can try your luck over in the next town
Now get on out of here 'cause the word is out

Curse you and the horse you rode in on
I'm not afraid to draw pistols at dawn
It's all cool with me, you can stick to your ploy
Go and get on out here, go on and ride 'em, cowboy
Giddy up, giddy up!
Giddy up, giddy up!
Hope you're in a short queue for a lot of bad luck

Curse you and the horse you rode in on
I'm not afraid to draw pistols at dawn
It's all cool with me, you can stick to your ploy
Go and get on out here, go on and ride 'em, cowboy
Giddy up, giddy up!
Giddy up, giddy up!
Hope you're in a short queue for a lot of bad luck

I mean, yeah, I like the tattoos on your arms...
And, sure, I was dazed by your lucky charms...
But I don't want to be a casualty of your mess
Another blonde little damsel stuck in distress
All to stroke an ego already in excess
But let's face it, you ain't no Erich Hess
Swallow that pride, it might put hair on your chest
'Cause you're gonna be lonely when that sun sets

Curse you and the horse you rode in on
I'm not afraid to draw pistols at dawn
It's all cool with me, you can stick to your ploy
Go and get on out here, go on and ride 'em, cowboy
Giddy up, giddy up!
Giddy up, giddy up!
Hope you're in a short queue for a lot of bad luck

Artist(s): Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Figure It Out
Genre(s): Country, Pop
Length: 3:01
Writer: E.G Summers, C. Hudson
Producer: Preeti, Ellie-Grace Summers
Label: Studio 60
From The Album: Mantra

Figure It Out is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers. The song serves as the third single and fourth track from Summers' long-awaited third studio album, "Mantra". The single followed on from the acclaimed release of "Monday's Love" which became another top 5 hit for Summers in the spring. Production of the song was handled by Preeti and Ellie-Grace. "Figure It Out" was written by Ellie-Grace alongside Christopher Hudson in a 2018 creative session. Like the previous releases from "Mantra", "Figure It Out" sees Ellie-Grace incorporate "pop" sounds and melodies into her work while remaining rooted in country. "Figure It Out" has been noted for its more "traditional" styling, drawing comparisons to her earlier work, dropping the disco crossover elements heard in her last two releases for rockier, more country leaning production and delivery. The song details the struggles of being a role model and person in the spotlight while also dealing with the aftermath of a bad break-up. Summers finds herself putting on a brave face and pretending to be the strong image everyone has of her in their head while simultaneously suffering an identity crisis behind closed doors.

The song was written in 2018 with lauded singer-songwriter Christopher Hudson in one of the many writing sessions for the often delayed record. With Ellie-Grace and many artists on the Studio 60 roster not being able to officially release music due to financial trouble at the label, the track remained unreleased for two years. Over that time, Summers re-worked "Figure It Out" several times over while remaining adamant that the track would appear on the album in some form or another. A personal favourite of Summers', "Figure It Out" was one of few songs never to be switched out for one of the other 100+ recordings for the "Mantra" record when creating multiple incarnations of the track listing.

Last they heard, I was Miss American Dream
They don't know how I cry myself to sleep
Thoughts run wild as I turn in the sheets
Struggling to count all those dirty little sheep
Real International Women of Mystery
'Cause I'm just that clueless when it comes to me

Thought I was the one with the treasure trove
But he hit the jackpot and I was the gold
Enraptured and wrapped in the webs you wove
Now it's all fell apart, don't know where to go

Don't ask, don't tell
I'm busy painting on a smile
Oh sure, it's Hell
But I can't let them see me spiral
Yeah, I'm so tired of being overestimated
This tower of strength just can't take it
But someway, somehow, I guess I'll go and figure it out
Guess I'll go and figure it out
God, help me figure it out

Flash of pearly teeth to hide the agony
You linger deep, touching nerves like a cavity
Trying to play it straight but I'm defying gravity
Head full of stars, my mind's reached capacity
Should suck it up and post about "the new me"
But I look in the mirror thinking; "who the hell is she?!"

Thought I was the one with the treasure trove
But he hit the jackpot and I was the gold
Enraptured and wrapped in the webs you wove
Now it's all fell apart, don't know where to go

Don't ask, don't tell
I'm busy painting on a smile
Oh sure, it's Hell
But I can't let them see me spiral
Yeah, I'm so tired of being overestimated
This tower of strength just can't take it
But someway, somehow, I guess I'll go and figure it out
Guess I'll go and figure it out
God, help me figure it out

Am I on the right track?
Can I get there any faster?
Give me that instant grat
Tell me that magical mantra
Feel like my cards are stacked
Wrong move and comes down in disaster
One puzzle I just can't figure out

Don't ask, don't tell
I'm busy painting on a smile
Oh sure, it's Hell
But I can't let them see me spiral
Yeah, I'm so tired of being overestimated
This tower of strength just can't take it
But someway, somehow, I guess I'll go and figure it out
Guess I'll go and figure it out
God, help me figure it out

Am I on the right track?

Artist: Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Cold
Genre(s): Country, Pop
Length: 3:59
Writers: EG.Summers
Producer: Ellie-Grace Summers
Label: Studio 60 Records
From The Album: Mantra

Cold is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers. The song serves as the fifth track on Summers' long-awaited third studio album, "Mantra". The track was written and produced entirely by Summers, with the artist describing it as an "easy write". Summers claims that the song "practically wrote itself" and that it was lyrically and melodically composed in under 30 minutes. "Cold" was initially pencilled in to be released as the fourth single from the project, however, plans were halted and then cancelled indefinitely when Ellie-Grace began work on her collaborative album with Ryan Ross Hernandez. It is a mid-tempo country-pop song with prominent drum beats and layered, "haunting" stacked background harmonies by Summers herself. Sonically, Ellie-Grace states that she was inspired by the internationally successful country-pop crossover hits that dominated the radio stations while she was growing up in the 1990's, citing artists like Shania Twain and Faith Hill as blueprints for the composition.

Lyrically, "Cold" has been dubbed by Summers as one of the "most vulnerable" tracks on the "Mantra" album as well as a personal favourite of hers. While earlier tracks on the album boast a "fiery" attitude, "Cold" sees that flame dissipate, with Summers sitting in her true sadness following her breakup as opposed to bolstering a feisty defence mechanism. Throughout "Cold", Ellie chronicles the aftermath of her breakup and the stark realisation that she is once again left on her own after thinking she had finally had it made, finding "The One". She begins to pick apart scenarios and question if she herself is the problem, blindsided by her partner's decision to leave and left wondering if the true answer lays closer to home. Summers also briefly references the media's constant interest in her love life, branding the discourse as "incessant noises".

Lump in my throat I keep on suppressing
Am I being taught some wicked lesson?
Something profound about God's vision?
Always coming out worse in His decisions
Falling victim to all the smoke and mirrors
Struggling downstream as others float upriver

Was it rocket science to figure out the signs?
Did I subconsciously play dumb and blind?
Starting to think that I brought it on myself
Can't sit at the table with everybody else

You were my man, my most treasured
Dressed to kill with a sense of adventure
Though we didn't need much to entertain us
Get by with just me and you, no outside players
Thought this would be the greatest love story ever told
Never imagined how this would all unfold
You held me tight, you held me close
You opened the door and left me cold

Could so easily break apart into little pieces
Challenge the guarantee printed on any adhesive
Maybe there's a formula or a proposed thesis;
As to why I can't keep things cohesive?
I kissed your lips and then I was kissing dust
Starting to develop a little problem with trust

Here come the opinions of the outside voices
Think I prefer sombre silence to their incessant noises
By your side no matter where the wind was blowing
Now alone in the icy world of the not-knowing

You were my man, my most treasured
Dressed to kill with a sense of adventure
Though we didn't need much to entertain us
Get by with just me and you, no outside players
Thought this would be the greatest love story ever told
Never imagined how this would all unfold
You held me tight, you held me close
You opened the door and left me cold

So many questions still up in the air
Yearning for the answer but still deathly scared
A call away but that's courage I just can't muster
The straw that breaks will be you blocking my number
Walking the thin line between love and hate
Desperate to slap and yet caress your face
A part of me wants all of this to get better
But then again, you went and left me bitter

You were my man, my most treasured
Dressed to kill with a sense of adventure
Though we didn't need much to entertain us
Get by with just me and you, no outside players
Thought this would be the greatest love story ever told
Never imagined how this would all unfold
You held me tight, you held me close
You opened the door and left me cold

You held me close, you left me cold
You held me close, you left me cold
You held me close, you left me cold
You held me close, you left me cold

Artist: Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Eyes of a Stranger
Genre(s): Country-Pop, Pop, Disco
Length: 3:20
Writers: E.G Summers
Producer: Rose Meadows
Label: Studio 60 Records
From The Album: Mantra

Eyes of a Stranger is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers. The song serves as the sixth track on Summers' long-awaited third studio album, "Mantra". The track was written entirely by Ellie-Grace while production was handled by Rose Meadows. Like most of Summers' compositions, the song originated as a simpler, acoustic track at its conception before being reworked with glossier production. "Eyes of a Stranger" is a country-pop song with Ellie-Grace's signature guitar playing throughout with other stringed instruments just as a violin and a fiddle making sporadic guest appearances. The track also incorporates "poppier" elements within its production, making use of "catchy" drum beats and tapping into the light Disco sound that Summers has been playing with throughout the album thus far. While lyrically a rather sad and somewhat dark song, the upbeat production paints a happier coat on top. It was the last song to be finalised before turning the album in to her label.

Lyrically, "Eyes of a Stranger" tells the tale of a woman who is "desperate" for love, seeking any sort of attention and passing it off in her mind as the real thing. Feeling broken and damaged by the breakup detailed at the beginning of the album, "Eyes of a Stranger" sees Ellie take on the role of a drunken barfly on the hunt for potential suitors. She appears to be forcing herself to move on even though it's evidently not the case, with the lyrics detailing her highly emotional state and need for comfort, company and reassurance as opposed to a genuine, organic connection. She hopes to "find herself" in the "eyes of a stranger", seemingly putting her worth in the hands of others. Her overzealous, forthcoming nature frightens everyone off and so she inevitably returns to her favourite bar every night in the hope that she'll get it right one day. It marks the turning point of the "Mantra" records which sees her, albeit irrationally, making an attempt to leave the past behind and move on to a new chapter.

What I wouldn't give to be objectified
A shattered ego needing subsidized
Becoming somebody that I don't recognize
Little black dress, sitting pretty tonight
Glacé cherry, wanna get all tongue-tied
Glass is half full, filled with something strong
You could make a move and I would play along

Saw you from across the bar, really liked your vibe
How do you feel about changing my life tonight?
Wanna forge ahead and move some damn mountains?
Wanna take the leap and clear every canyon?
And, hey handsome, you wanna die together?
Another Sauvignon and I'll be yours forever

No, I'm not looking for a Prince Charming
Don't even care about no wild stallion
Any cowboy could come pass through this town
Just so long as I'm the prize in his showdown
Keep those steady figures wrapped 'round my little waist
Don't ever let me go, look me in the face
Found myself in the eyes of a stranger
The most beautiful place
In the eyes of a stranger
Don't let that contact break

Doesn't look like he was the man of my dreams
Back to square one, swear I'm stuck on repeat
At least they love me here, got my designated seat
Shame the cute bartender bats for another team
And I've dropped the ball so many times, it's obscene
It's not a sob story, it's all purely anecdotal
Would rather take some falls than be rendered immobile

Saw him across the way, felt an instant connection
Well, they've said that I leave a big impression
He seems like the soft and sensitive type
Good job that butter wouldn't melt in mine
What do you say? Shall we take the leap?
Promise to watch over me as I go to sleep?

No, I'm not looking for a Prince Charming
Don't even care about no wild stallion
Any cowboy could come pass through this town
Just so long as I'm the prize in his showdown
Keep those steady figures wrapped 'round my little waist
Don't ever let me go, look me in the face
Found myself in the eyes of a stranger
The most beautiful place
In the eyes of a stranger
Don't let that contact break

I'm really not that high maintenance
All you need is love and a bit of patience
Swear I'm not radiating desperation
I just have a little issue with separation
Please don't act like all I want is everything
Promise I'm happy to take absolutely anything

No, I'm not looking for a Prince Charming
Don't even care about no wild stallion
Any cowboy could come pass through this town
Just so long as I'm the prize in his showdown
Keep those steady figures wrapped 'round my little waist
Don't ever let me go, look me in the face
Found myself in the eyes of a stranger
The most beautiful place
In the eyes of a stranger
Don't let that contact break

Artist: Ellie-Grace Summers
Title: Silly Little Thing Called Love
Genre(s): Country-Pop, Pop, Yacht Rock
Length: 3:49
Writers: E.G Summers, C.Hudson
Producer: Rose Meadows
Label: Studio 60 Records
From The Album: Mantra

Silly Little Thing Called Love is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers. The song serves as the seventh track on Summers' long-awaited third studio album, "Mantra", as well as being lifted as the fourth official single from the record. The track was written by Ellie-Grace Summers and award-winning songwriter Christopher Hudson, whom Summers scheduled multiple writing sessions with throughout the creation of "Mantra". Production was handled by Rose Meadows, who also produced the previous track in the album's running order. Although rooted in country music, "Silly Little Thing Called Love" contains elements of pop, synthpop, disco and yacht rock, creating a wide mainstream crossover appeal with its catchy production and melodic structure. Many reviewers compared it to country-disco hits of the 1970's. "Silly Little Thing Called Love" also references, although uncredited, "Breathe" by Faith Hill - Summers' self-proclaimed "favorite ever song".

Lyrically, "Silly Little Thing Called Love" sees Ellie entering a brand new relationship, officially leaving the upset and the sequential fallout of the previous one that kickstarted the "Mantra" journey in the past. Written with "rose tinted glasses" on, "Silly Little Thing Called Love" captures the excitement and endless possibilities of a brand new relationship. With many "firsts" still to come their way for the new couple, Ellie expresses her eagerness and anticipation over experiencing these milestones together. Throughout the song, Summers states how it is the "small things" that she appreciates most and that she is the type of lover who actively takes an interest, remembering all the little details about her partner. From the foods he dislikes, to the date of his mother's birthday, Summers makes a vow to mentally bank that information forever. Although not an official sample, "Silly Little Thing Called Love" also references Summers' favorite song, Faith Hill's 1999 country crossover hit, "Breathe" through the line; "Caught up in the slow and steady rush". She also nods to the artist herself, singing; "Maybe one day, I'll convert you to some Faith".

Here we are again, love, my dear old friend
Like something straight out of a work of fiction
I'll get lost in the pages and our contradictions
Can't wait for the nicknames we shall bestow
To discover the quirks and craft our inside jokes
I'm probably pacing five steps ahead of myself
Just know I ride or die when chips are down and cards are dealt

You'll roll your eyes when we pose for a Polaroid
Worried about your hair is what I'm betting
Don't know what's ahead, hand in hand, looking into the void
So let's capture these precious moments in resin

Oh, you might think I do too much
For this silly little thing called love
Caught up in the slow and steady rush
Drop the anchor when the going gets tough
Every chapter and verse, remember your every line
Come closer, be mine, my forever Valentine
No, I don't care if I do too much
Love this silly little thing called love

Here we are again, love, my dear old friend
I'll hold on tightly to your special little details
How you hate cilantro and tear up listening to The Eagles
Maybe one day, I'll convert you to some Faith
Your mom's birthday, yeah, I've already saved the date
No western wind will alter my direction
I'm not breezy about changing my affections

Caught in the rain and cussing the Gods out
Hating every minute, though minutes soon pass
And over time we'll bask in many golden hours
Cherishing each second that trickles through the glass

Oh, you might think I do too much
For this silly little thing called love
Caught up in the slow and steady rush
Drop the anchor when the going gets tough
Every chapter and verse, remember your every line
Come closer, be mine, my forever Valentine
No, I don't care if I do too much
Love this silly little thing called love

I might come on a little bit strong
But I want to shine while our lights are on
Not materialistic, I care more about the gestures
Love a happy ending but I enjoy the journey getting there
And I'm sorry if you think that I do too much
But I got a feeling this is more than just a crush

Oh, you might think I do too much
For this silly little thing called love
Caught up in the slow and steady rush
Drop the anchor when the going gets tough
Every chapter and verse, remember your every line
Come closer, be mine, my forever Valentine
No, I don't care if I do too much
Love this silly little thing called love

Caught in the rain, cussing the Gods out
Laughing it off as soon as we dry down
I hold on tight to those silly little things
Strike a pose, here comes my camera
Immortalising our haircut disasters
I hold on tight to those silly little things

Caught in the rain, cussing the Gods out
Laughing it off as soon as we dry down
I hold on tight to those silly little things
Strike a pose, here comes my camera
Immortalising our haircut disasters
I hold on tight to those silly little things

Mmmm, those silly little things

Artist: Ellie-Grace Summers, Billy
Title: Call On Me
Genre(s): Pop, Country Disco
Length: 4:05
Writers: E.G Summers, C.Hudson, B.Khan
Producer: LosOscuros
Label: Studio 60 Records
From The Album: Mantra

Call On Me is a song by American singer-songwriter Ellie-Grace Summers featuring British singer-songwriter, Billy. The song serves as the lead single to "Mantra" as well as placing as the album's eighth track. The song saw Ellie-Grace progress from her typical country music roots, incorporating elements of disco, synthpop and dance music into the single. "Call On Me" has been noted for its retro styling with many comparing it to popular 1980's music. It is notably the most "pop leaning" song on the "Mantra" album. The musical track, produced by LosOscuros, was originally set to be used by British-Azeri singer Lincoln for inclusion on his debut album. After axing that particular song from his project, the beat was then shopped to other artists. Summers began writing to it with Christopher Hudson, later brining Khan into the mix once the idea of a duet had been coined. To date, "Call On Me" remains Summer's best-selling single.

Lyrically, the song is structured as a conversational piece between Summers and Khan, as they reveal their thoughts and feelings to one another. "Call On Me" is about two lovers who intended for their arrangement to be no-strings-attached, however, they soon find themselves infatuated and obsessed with one another. Although placing after "Silly Little Thing Called Love" in the tracklist, "Call On Me" serves as a "flashback" to the new relationship she has found herself in, unveiling how the pairing got together and finally committed to making everything official. Despite it's more polished, pop-leaning production in comparison to most of Summers' work, the song's lyrics still nod towards the root of her artistry, referencing "country roads" and a "rodeo".

Too scared to take the stand, can I fall all in you?
Top it with a cherry, give me a taste of your tattoos
Keep bucking at the knees but it ain't my first rodeo
Hazy mind but I still wanna rock with how you roll
How did I get so wrapped up and in this position?
Go ahead and hit the ignition

I should know better, I hate this conflict
My heart and mind wrestle like us under the covers
Gotta get myself together, stitch by stitch
But I want you to kiss me up until I recover

I will be the one to haunt you in your dreams
I will be the one to watch over as you sleep
I can be the little secret that you can keep
Come on make me weak, come on make me freak
I'm on the line so uh, uh call on me whenever you want
It's all for you so uh, uh take from me whatever you want
Uh, uh call on me whenever you want

Look in my eyes as you trace your fingers on my neck
We said no strings but now it's all hands on deck
Travel from my city lights down to your country roads
Too much is not enough, keep repeating until we overload
Two souls on fire burning up and ready for demolition
Go ahead and drop the pin to your location

I should know better, I hate this conflict
My heart and mind wrestle like us under the covers
Gotta get myself together, stitch by stitch
But I want you to kiss me up until I recover

I will be the one to haunt you in your dreams
I will be the one to watch over as you sleep
I can be the little secret that you can keep
Come on make me weak, come on make me freak
I'm on the line so uh, uh call on me whenever you want
It's all for you so uh, uh take from me whatever you want
Uh, uh call on me whenever you want

It's so intense living in the middle, laying with him
Ain't it better than yearning on the outside, looking in?
Get so caught in his strobe lights that nothing makes sense
Well put on your dancing shoes and let's do it again
I'm giving it all up, you can call on me whenever you want
Let me reciprocate, you can take from me whatever you want

I will be the one to haunt you in your dreams
I will be the one to watch over as you sleep
I can be the little secret that you can keep
Come on make me weak, come on make me freak
I'm on the line so uh, uh call on me whenever you want
It's all for you so uh, uh take from me whatever you want
Uh, uh call on me whenever you want

I will be the one to haunt you in your dreams
I will be the one to watch over as you sleep
I can be the little secret that you can keep
Come on make me weak, come on make me freak
I'm on the line so uh, uh call on me whenever you want
