Maliah Aguilar and Kara Romero were stood by the bar with a glass of wine each, chatting about their plans over the next week or so with Kara deciding to remain in California for a few extra days, they made some plans to meet up while they were both going to be in the same city for a short time.

Rico smiles once again at her. "Hey, my name is Rico by the way, let me grab those for you wouldn't want you to spoil that very pretty dress...or that pretty face" He says with his thick Chilean accent as he blushes slightly it had been a while since Rico had been in the presence of people other than his daughter in general let alone someone as beautiful as Aurelia. "So what is your name?"

Aurelia smiles, “Oh, thank you so much.” She says, her accent a combination of Spanish and American with her official nationality being Cuban but having spent the majority of her life in San Diego. He had already caught her eye earlier in the evening, it was now a case of seeing whether his personality matched his looks, so far so good. “I’m Aurelia, it’s nice to meet you.” She says as she extends her hand out to him.

Maddie laughs a little as Alexis says she didn’t expect to see Maddie around, “I know, fuck I feel like I’ve been living a reclusive life recently. I’m doing good, I’ve spent the last three months working on a movie. Only just starting to think about getting back to my music.” She says with a big friendly smile as she leans in and hugs her friend. Maddie had a very big and energetic personality, “Girl, you need a cocktail, I need a fucking cocktail. Tell me all about it!” she says enthusiastically, wanting to know everything her friend has been up to this past year or more.

Aurelia nods, “Thank you, that’s so sweet of you to say. I’m Cuban, but I’ve spent most of my life in San Diego. Some people may say that makes me more American than Cuban, but I love my roots. I’ve never been to Chile before but that’s a beautiful accent you have.” She says with smile as he offers to carry the shots over, “Oh yes, thank you!” she giggles a little, “Just a warning, if those girls say anything to you, please just ignore them. They’ve had a few drinks already!” She says, slightly worried about what her slightly tipsy friends will say to him.

Aurelia blushes a little at his compliments, “Oh, you’re crazy.” She says with a smile, “You do? Oh my god, what a small world. I guess I don’t spend a lot of time out in San Diego, I work in Los Angeles so I’m out of town a lot.” She raises her eyebrows and shrugs her shoulders as he says he can cope with her friends, “Okay, don’t say I didn’t warn you.” She says as she brings him over towards the table with her girls. “Heyyyy Mr. Loverman!” Imani says with a smirk as the girls giggle, “Helping our girl Aurelia out, huh?” she says playfully as Aurelia just tries to avoid the awkwardness, “Why don’t you join us?” says Brianna.

Aurelia shakes her head and laughs slightly, “Yeah, if you’re okay with hanging out with these crazy people.” she says as she takes one of the shot glasses and immediately downs in, knowing that this is likely to be a slightly uncomfortable situation for her. She pulls over a chair for him to sit beside her. Imani immediately begins with a question for Rico, “Us girls have been having a debate and could use some male perspective. What do think would be considered too big for most women?” she says with a giggle. Aurelia stands to her feet immediately, “Oh, no. I think we’re done at this table” she says, unable to hide her laugher. She grabs Rico’s arm and drags him away from the table. ”I’m sorry about those girls, I did warn you.” She says with a shake of her head as they find a quieter spot in the lounge area.

Aurelia laughs a little, “I’m definitely not drunk enough to be asking those type of questions yet.” She says, shaking her head. “Tell me a little about yourself?” she says with a friendly smile.

“Oh wow, I don’t know what to say about that.” She says with a laugh, “At least you’re confident.” She as she orders a drink from one of the waiter’s walking around the room. She smiles, “Oh come on, Ricardo is cute!” she says with a playful smile as she listens to him talk about his life, “Woman can be crazy sometimes. Tell me about your daughter, what’s her name? What does she want to be when she grows up?” Aurelia showed interest in the conversation, she didn’t carry the sort of vanity and snootiness of the music industry, she was just a very normal type of girl that just happened to work behind the scenes in the industry.
