To each their own I guess, but Rambo is considered by most people to be the greatest action movies of all time.

No it's not. I've never heard ANYBODY in 25 years on earth refer to any of the Rambo movies as te greatest action movie of all time. I mean The Dark Knight would be higher up peoples lists. And that's certainly not the greatest action movie. Depends how you want to define an action film really.

Dark Knight isnt an action movie though, I am talking about the action movies with guns, explosions, and that sort of thing. Rambo IS widely considered the return of the action movie, to its deepest roots, and its gory style. Perhaps your just asking the wrong people, such as stupid tweeners that think Twilight is the greatest masterpiece of the century, because if you ask die hard action fans who love fast paced, bullets flying, throat slitting movies, like I do, they will either answer, Rambo, or Predator.

I'm a 25 year old. I don't talk to particularly many tweens.

Frankly among my friends there's considerably more love for a film like Commando or Die Hard.

To be fair though, I'm not much of an action fan myself, I prefer films that are a little more high-brow than tits, guns & explosions.

I agree, Die Hard is pretty good, and so is Crank, but Rambo just is moor my kind of thing. As for the high brow comment, your right most action movies do resort to tits, guns, and explosions, but you would be surprised how many action movies do have a great story line, and a wonderful concept and vision, there are highbrow action movies, you just have to know where to look.

I've seen more action movies than you, don't worry, and I've enjoyed plenty of them. But not enough to have a top 5.

I'm not as obsessive with films as I am with music, it's nowhere near as important to me.

The only list I can do is top 3 films ever.

Blues Brothers
Big Lebowski
Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure

I have no idea why they all start with B.

I doubt you have seen more action movies than me. My own collection alone, contains 209 action films, plus who know how many that I have rented.

I could seriously not think of 50. Especially from the past near-decade. But then, I'm not really a movie person in honesty.

Though actually now I notice, I'm surprised Twilight wasn't put on that list. Considering Harry Potter is so high up.

I'd struggle to think of 50 films from this decade.

But lists for music is ace.

Yea I would say Die Hard, T2: Judgment Day, Hard Boiled (and almost any early Woo), and Bloodsport.
