One of the best sitcoms of recent years Season 7 was a dissapointment but it's back on top in Season 8.
Although it's a comedy program there's one episode which stands out from the rest in my view and thats episode 20 from season 5 called My Lunch it's one of the most powerful episodes and it's based on a true story.
What do you guys think of Scrubs should it have ended at Season 6 or Season 8 let's know.

Brill series. Got stale around season 6, so back then I'd have said to end it there. However, season 8 was awesome. Season 9 will be amazing too, I've seen a few clips and it's exactly what the series needed.

I think John C. McGinley/ Dr. Cox deserves so much more credit and recognition, he really is an amazing actor.

Yes - Jonny C. is a good actor. The problem with most of the Scrubs actors is that they're still reasonably young and they've only been in Scrubs and a few other minor things - be interesting to see some of Zach Braff's work when he's done with Scrubs. Garden State was great so I have pretty high hopes. Neil Flynn is probably the funniest guy there - he improvs a lot of his stuff.

Zach Braff is apparently working on a script for a film called Swingles starring alongside Cameron Diaz and John McGinley was great in Platoon.
Also The Last Kiss was a pretty decent enough movie but The Ex wasn't all that great.

im actually a fan of zach braff on facebook... sad i know.
Its one of the best sitcoms to come out of america ever in my opinion...favorate episode is probably the janitors wedding in series 8, brilliantness allround though.
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like:
Hey, what are you doing here?
and im just like:
Oh you know, hunting elephants

I did too. But TV programs have made me cry many a time and I'm not afraid to admit it :P

OMFG I loved that show....up until season 7. Don't get me wrong, Season 8 was incredible. Very twisty in character directions like JD and Elliot, and the new interns, but overall, it's just not really scrubs anymore. I loved season 4 the most prolly.

Basically this, though I wouldn't call season 8 awesome. It was better, just not brilliant. 1st series will always be the best in my opinion though.

Agree - first season is best. Originally it was just going to be the one season, I believe?

Though my personal favourite ep was from season 8 - My Last Words. Great writing and acting capped off by I Will Follow You Into The Dark. Bliss.

I love this show. As most people already said, things get a little weird around seasons 5-7. It seemed like those seasons put more emphasis on wacky jokes rather than the drama the earlier seasons weaved into the show. My favorite season is season 3, although I liked season 8 a lot.

The season 8 finale episode was probably one of my favourite of the last coupld of seasons and that final moment where he sees his future was pretty great i thought it was pretty brilliant, I was pretty close to tears.

The last season was one of the best, and the best since about season 4-5. From season 5-7 they kept getting more and more into wacky jokes and fantasies and less about the drama (although I loved the Dr. Cox organ transplant failure subplot in season 5 and wish they would have made it last longer).

From the 3 episodes I've seen of the new season, I'm not really liking the new plot but it will probably grow on me as it goes. I'm happy to see Eliza Coupe aka Denise "Jo" Mahoney become a series regular, I loved her character last season when she was an intern, her sarcastic and insensitive attitude reminded me of sort-of a female version of Dr. Cox. Just because her and Cox are my favorite characters I will continue watching the ongoing season but I can't get into that new girl, Lucy, at all.
