Stephanie Fierce "Bette Davis Eyes" Single Artwork  So you covered two songs in this album! You covered” Fighting Spirit” by Madonna and did a remake of “Bette Davis Eyes” by Kim Carnes. Now first of all who is Kim Carnes and why do call it a remake instead of a cover? "Kim Carnes is one of the most underrated Fierce Queens of the 80’s. The 80’s was an amazing decade for her and for Fierce Pop, she deserves to be recognized, especially now. She’s just fierce and super classy at the same time and a lot of my music reflects hers. I also love her sexy crisp voice. It is what makes her fierce". How did you get cover the song, like how does that work? "We’ll she’s much older now and to contact her took almost a year, I really wanted to ask her personally if I can remake the song. She said yes. So I came to the decision to keep the exact beat and everything just higher quality and I even tried to make a crisp voice like hers. That’s why I call it a remake because I didn’t take the song and made it into something else. I was just so happy that she and her old label were ok with it. They preferred it that way anyway." So who is Bette Davis? "Bette Davis is a wonderful actress from the 30’s and on, she’s fierce and she’ll give a hard intimate look when she acts. And this volume reflects Bette Davis a lot.
