Reckoner is a British Band formed in Teignmouth, Devon in early 2000s. Reckoner is consisted of band Members, Troy{Vocals/Guitar/Piano/Songwriter),JC(Lead Guitar/Back Up Vocals/Keyboards/Electronics)Carl(Rhythm Guitar/Back Up Vocals/Electronics)JPC(Bass Guitar/Keyboards) and Tristan(Percussion). The band was formed when Troy met Carl in Northridge Academy in their high school years.Troy and Carl shared the same interests in music and talked about forming a band.Troy offered Carl guitar lessons and made Carl the temporary vocalist of the band while trying to learn the guitar.When Carl finally learned the basics in playing the guitar, Troy invited his cousin Tristan to play the drums in their band.After performing in a school program, the three met JPC who is two years older than them. He said he liked the music their band played and told them he could play bass for the band.After JPC joined the band, they started thinking of a name.They came up with names like, Assassin,Smooth,Invisible Storm,Plague and many other names but didn't feel it was right for their alternative rock sound until Troy thought of the name Reckoner after listening to Reckoner by Radiohead the other night.Thus, Reckoner was formed dominating not only their school, but the whole town winning battle-after-battle with other bands with their unique rock sound similar to Radiohead,Muse, Queen, Depeche Mode and many more.After a few months of building themselves as the town's Hottest Band, they met JC who was the former lead guitarist and vocalist of the band Sandstorm(the hottest band in their school before Reckoner). JC wanted to join their band and became lead guitarist and keyboardist. Now, Reckoner is beginning to dominate Europe with the release of "Project:MK Ultra" a two part EP which was spread over the internet and is now dominating the computers of every individual in the world.
