What do think about it?

What is your favorite Reggaetón song?

I just found out "Gasolina" by Daddy Yankee peaked #5 in the UK, that is freaking Epic!

I like i sometimes, spanish is such a rhythmic language that the rap is a lot cooler sounding so I think it's cool. However no offense to your people but puerto ricans speak horrible spanish and shorten the words a lot. They're liek the New Yorkers of Latin America. For instance "Ella Le Gusta la Gasolina" (she likes the gasonline) ends up as "Ellala (Ay-yall-ah) guta la gosolina" also I hate how there are only like 2 big reggaeton producers and they use the same drumbeat in like every song.

well its the same thing with Rap, horrible English. Its all part of the swagger its done purposely. Puerto Ricans from "New York" know as Nuyorican (Fake Puerto Ricans) are the ones who speak and write horrible Spanish or anyone who is raised outside from Puerto Rico. That is a huge stereotype that Puerto Ricans who are raised in the islands receive.

Like I said it is done purposely in the song. Daddy Yankee is a very educated man. In fact I think he is the most educated Reggaeton rapper in my opinion.

And of course Puerto Rico has its "hoods" where people grow up using slang, in top of that they move to Florida or New York and their Spanish only gets more horrible.

But Puerto Rico has its own Spanish. Different Spanish from Spain and different Spanish from Mexico. Something many people seem to confuse.

I know, liek I said, I'm just saying.Every Latin American country has a different accent, people in Italy move to Argentina because their form of Spanish is apparently closer to Italian, others move to Brasil because they're portuguese is close to spansih that's closer to Italian, in fact, Max and Igor Cavalera from Sepultura are the sons of an Italian diplomat or something like that.

Oh ok lol I just wanted to make sure you knew that but I'm actually surprised you have an interest towards the music since I thought you were just going to bash on it.

But its understandable if you do, since Reggaeton is dying.
