I'd have to say Muse, all of their live performances are just so energetic and electrifying.
But Queen were the best of all time..

I would have to say either Muse or Avenged Sevenfold for this one.

Best band I ever saw live was CANDLEMASS in 2005, with good ol' Messiah doing the vokills. But seeing as I'll be seeing CANDLEMASS again in April (together with a whole bunch of other brilliant bands), that may change. Other than that I have simply no idea. I've never seen most of my favorite bands live... yet.

The best band I have witnessed live would probably vary wildly depending on mood and what I've seen recently, but I'm tempted to say that Oxbow are one of the very best live bands I have witnessed this century. Just something scarily intense about them.

I'd have to say that Avenged Sevenfold are probably the second worst headliner I've ever seen, after the recent Alestorm show. What a fucking Godawful band.

KISS by far. They put on the most bombastic, entertaining and one of the most loudest concerts ever.
It's been said many times that you have not seen a show, until you've seen a KISS show.

It's also been said many times, by me, that I'd rather never see another concert again than ever see a KISS show. Because big pyros don't make up for horrible music.

Yeah but that's obviously a complete lie.

You are right and I apologise. Big pyros do indeed more than make up for shitty music :(

That's all in opinion. Which is the whole point of this topic lol. Many people love their music, as do I. I seen them 3 times and they were the best concerts I've ever seen. And believe me, I've seen the greats.

I'm going to say, given that Kiss are one of those big stuck-in-the-past heavy metal institutions that peddle a kitschy nostalgia trip, this should really go to a band more of this century, and I'm going to say that band is Sunn O))), whose shows are a unique and specific experience that cannot really be adequately described. It's one of those "you have to be there" things, because it's so visual, so visceral, so physical, it overwhelms pretty much all the senses, which doesn't translate in a video.
