Egocentric is the second single from The Verdict Is Vengeance's debut studio album Liberation. It features Alex Leiuso, lead singer from fellow Suicide Records band We Shot The Stars. The single is more evidence that the band is not limited to the one style that they are classed under, and is set to become a major hit with fans both old and new, with the vocals from Alex Leiuso making the song a must have for any die hard fans.

Extra Information From The Band:

When asked about the single, guitarist Phil Nind's response was:

"I think this will be the best single of the album, not just becuase it's got my favourite song that we wrote on it but also the fact that it's featuring Alex, he is such an amazing singer, but also becuase we're using our cover of Night Of The Hunter by 30 Seconds To Mars who have made us want to become as good as they have been."

Marks has explained the lyrics in a reccent interview with MTV news:

"The lyrics are about how around 80 - 90 percent of people are just becoming self loving idiots who don't care about anyone, or anything. They just want everybody to think what they think of themselves which is most more often than not 'I love myself, I look so hot or I'm better than you because i'm better looking than you.' It's people who are like that, who just end up breaking peoples hearts and then just look back and think 'Oh well, i'll find another person' which they do, and then repeat the whole process, it just never stops. Me, Alex (Leiuso) and Rob (Williams) all thought about how we should write the lyrics and they ended up giving the perfect impression that i was aiming for, 'I don't care about your looks, Only of the heart you took' are my favourite lyrics from the whole album."
