I kinda find twitter pointless unless you're some sort of high-profile celebrity or a business, so the fans/customers know what is next to come. But if you're just an average joe like most people are in the world, then it's kinda boring. You can just use facebook/myspace/Bebo/whatever to post what you are doing.

Twitter is by far the most confounding of the social networking sites because it's literally text messaging on the internet. What is this, the early 90s? It's within most people's expertise to create all manner of social networking profiles, with photographs and news, and videos and all kinds of content, and yet people are excited by twitter, a system so basic you can't even follow a post reply back to the original post. Fuck off.
