I despise Alan Carr and Michael McIntyre and think that someone should murder Peter Kay.
Most of my favourite comedians aren't even stand-ups but either comic actors or comic writers. Armando Iannucci is utterly fantastic, and his former colleague and friend Chris Morris is another fantastic one. And as far as actual standups go I think Alexei Sayle is bloody fantastic (also as a comic writer), Paul Merton's improv stand-up stuff is fucking glorious, Stewart Lee and Richard Herring are both great, together and on their own.
So there we go. |

Whos line is it anyway both the American and British version was the best thing to ever be invented.
Also, while people will call me stupid for it, the only comedian I have ever found funny every joke hes told is Larry the Cable Guy. Most will call him immature, or nothing but redneck potty humor, but if you listen, hes actually making fun of rednecks and lower class America. Which is hilarious the way he does it. Plus hes funny as crap and his face looks funny while doing it. |

I think that Robin Williams as a stand up is the best there has ever been, forget the horrible recent movies he's made just watch his 2002 dvd or his live at the met performance, true comedy genius. |

Do you hate Robin Williams movies or his actual stand up or do you just hate him completely. If the dude with the wonky eye is Jason Byrne then i also like him. |
