Since my sort-of sebaticle, I've returned for some more posting. I also despise trsg(the actual game) now that carl ruined it's point system.
Back to my topic, What are your opinions on the basic foundation of language itself? I feel that mankind has begun it's major de-evolution. Words that actually needed intelligence to use and vast vocabularies are being replace with expletives and slang by imbeciles and ignorant people of all kinds. For instance, which I absolutely hate, the word,"gay" When in the world was the definition of this word changed to reference homosexuality? Seriously, I find these ridiculously stupid neighbors of mine who seem to grow shorter every year, yell out this word(and many like it) every 5 seconds from dusk till dawn. Not to mention the recent "hate-crime" laws recently legislated by the antichrist of all presidents over here and all of the ethic/ethnic rallys denying our right of opinion. Just another way of somebody saying they're right and you're wrong. I'm sick of it, I wish they'd all burn in hell just for making life unnecessarily complicated. Anyway, discuss.

If there is one thing that pisses me off about 'words' or language, is the development of management speak. Utterly flowery gibberish thats completely unnecessary. Perhaps people felt they needed to come up with such crap to cast themselves as an important co-contributor towards driven business ideologies and strategies that pertain to the functional alignment of cost driven algorithms, weighted by esential learnings and deliverable outcomes which operationalise the key, fundamentally synergic aspirations that are properly marginalised. These fundamentalities should be maintained as an entry level data store with essential details that support drill downs thus specified in previously alluded to frameworks. |

In case you haven't noticed, I love words, My favourite thing in the world is describing a simple concept in a ridiculous amount of words, generally avoiding actually saying the actual thing I'm talking about. Circumlocution. Also, the sounds of words, the timing and the phrasing, which kind of doesn't come off right on the internet. Currently I'm obsessed with fuckin' as opposed to fucking, which would move the emphasis closer to the fuck and contract the ending to really just "nnn" - ie. "fffuck-nn". Also I like to endlessly amuse myself with strange half-broken words and names, durgs, alkeyhol, monies, kuh-nife. Whatever really.
But then, I am a weirdo. |
