I stuck my new copy of Sim City 4 into my drive, but it just makes a whirring sound like its starting up then stops? This happened with my dads Wolfmother disk to, when he tried to rip it it took a few tries to get it to rip to Itunes but now Sim City wont rip at all. It's got all the right specs for it to play so its not a case of my laptop not being good enough, so any ideas how to solve it? If I don't I'll have to use the family computer which means my little brothers basically so he'll get in a pissy with me so I'd rather not. |

If you google this there'll be all kinds of answers, but it boils down to a firmware upgrade, which means finding the firmware for your exact drive, and installing it, or else just buying a new drive. |
