Okay, heres a round up of all the songs we have written and liked so far:

Amber is the New Red
My Fall From Grace
The Good Apollyon
Planting the Seeds of Doubt
Anthema I
Anthema II
Anthema III
Soul Shadows
Funky Ragga Blues

That doesn't mean all of them will make it. The ones highlighted in bold are certain. The ones in italics are unlikely. To add to that we've also written some more songs...

Star of Orion is a progressive metal song through and through. It contains synthesizers, special effects and changing tempos. It even goes slightly black metal during its juicy centre. Not true kvlt black metal, more Venom black metal.

Another one is Scattered Hate. If you are a Mind fan, you'll probably like this. It's much like the stuff off MindBodySoul or Free Your Mind.

Last one for now is Talking with Fairies. This is very Deftones-like. more Alt metal than most of our stuff we've done before.

The album is far from done, but these are little glimpses into it ;) Byebye

We can now announce that our epic album Free Your Mind peaked at number 38 in the UK charts. That's not too shabby.

We were just thinking of some more names of our album. Help guys? Preferably not a bad pun like the last one. Actually, that's not a bad idea. Also, we're doing a design a logo competition! (OOC: I'm too lazy), where you Mind fans help us design an official band logo to win prizes such as the bonuses on Free Your Mind, a Mind t-shirt and a Daniel the Evil Clown toy to keep beside your bed at night. Good luck with these both! (That is, if you're doing them.)

Right. Lets have a quick update on our latest songs. Of course, knowing that the word Mind can be made into many a pun, we've made an instrumental called Mindfuck. It might become an intro, but it isn't a proper song. The Trail of the Wanderer is our attempt at folk rock. A simplistic, yet effective song. That's quite a good bet for the album, along with another, much, much, MUCH more heavier song called Polymer. Mind aren't a grindcore band, but if they were, that's what they would sound like. I think. The songwriting process is almost over, but we'll leave you with one more FOR NOW. It could possibly be a single if included in the album. It is called Lyophilization (the Words and the World). It may be a mouthful, but it is our most downright-rock song we've ever done probably. Don't worry, not mainstream, just rock. We're still good ol' metal-punk Mind. It starts with a dual riff and then it goes into a song of epic proportions. It's also normal timing, at 4 minutes long, which is pretty rare.

Kthxbye

Since we don't usually post our single covers and that, we thought we'd show you the basic info for our most successful single to date, Amber is the New Red. Enjoy, motherfuckers!

UserPostedImage

Amber is the new Red (Hardcore Punk/ Heavy Metal)

1. Amber is the new Red
2. Samurai Warrior
3. The Black Horsemen (King Diamond cover)

We chose this as the single at the time because although it didn't fit the style of Free Your Mind, it was still a very good song. We were always going to put it in the follow up, but we just were too impatient and thought we'd release it as a single. Musically, it is more plain out punk than we've done before. The lyrics address the way people kill for money and prosperity and shit. Samurai Warrior is a Heavy Metal song in the region of later Coheed, Iron Maiden, 3 or Alice In Chains. It is quite grunge influenced as well and tells the story of the Samurais rise and fall. It's crap, but it was a filler song for the single. Of course, The Black Horsemen needs no introduction. It is simply a legendary song, no doubt.

Hope you enjoyed it, watch out for more shit.

Lovely. We're almost done with Dover. Lovely place, but it's exhausting on this tour. Nearly on our break before we go back onto the tour again. Gonna get wasted tonight! >:D So far, we've had a lot of inspiration for the tour. A lot of songs have been written, but they're all rubbish. Of course, there are a couple of good ones which we'll just improve, name and then post onto the website. Also, in other news, Jason's gonna be starring in the Reckoner video for their new song Negative. These guys are awesome and our fans seem to think so too, since they're owning the performances on tour. We've come up with some possible titles for the album :

The Juggernaut
Machine
Amber...
Mind (or self-titled)
Snake and the Pearl
Everlasting Evil
Ghost of Time

Opinions, guys?

*Sighs* You're not very good at the whole opinion crap, are you? Never mind. Well it's been a nice little break, but it's almost time to get into our tour bus. The experiene has been amazing and we'd like to thank all our supporters who've taken the time to come and watch us play stuff. On the 28th, we're going to have to cancel the "Plug'N'Play" gig in Cumbria, since we're doing the wireless lounge. You'll get your money back though, we promise. And free tickets for another gig of your choice. Maybe.

A lot of news, mostly important, this time guys. First off, Jason is in the new video for the song Negative by Reckoner. Go and watch it. Secondly, we're going to be releasing 3 whole albums this year. 1) Because we can, 2) Because we have a shitload of songs and 3) Its highly themed (quite conceptual, but not completely) It won't be TOO long 'til the album will be available to you.

It should please all Mind fans; It has the hard, speedy hardcore punk songs, the 80s style thrash songs, the death metallic songs, the progressive, more melodic songs and even a ballad or two.
We are very pleased to announce Liam from The Schadenfreude Ecdysiast will be working on this album with us. A great fellow and an even better producer. That reminds me, we better get to him with the details... anyway, bubi for now, fools.

Oh, have we got some lyrics for you.

Firstly, here it is for Divine Usurper, which has been leaked by some bastards:

Divine are the living
Divine are the dead
We learn how we live when we die

Divine... Divine... Divine
We learn how we live when we die
Divine!
Divine!
Divine!
We learn how we live when we die

Dividing the living... Defining the dead
One hundred or more in the womb
One hundred will go... one hundred below
One hundred will burn it away
Oh God help me with these dreams
Of one hundred millions souls washed away
One hundred will go... one hundred below
One hundred will burn it away

((OOC: It's really Devour by Strapping Young Lad. I made some adjustments to make it fit in.))

And here's Scattered Hate:

Raaaaaaaaaaawr!
Hate is the power that fuels my rage,
Death is the reason to survive,
This Juggernaut apparent controlling me,
You'll not make it alive,
Ready or not here I come,
To destroy you all again,
Divine Usurper, serenade me,
Into song that splits me in ten,

*CHORUS*
Scattered about the underworld,
Scattered about the dead,
Scattered within your unthinking soul,
Fuck you all again!
*CHORUS*

Haaaaaaaaaate!
Hate is the power that fools us all,
Making us all believe,
I only believe in one true God,
And he was made to deceive,
The Good Apollyon, the folks called him,
Not knowing he hates all,
This fucking bullshit lies within,
To scatter hate is your fall,

*CHORUS*
Scattered about the underworld,
Scattered about the dead,
Scattered within your unthinking soul,
Fuck you all again!
*CHORUS*

*EPIC SOLO*

Hate!, Hate!
Hate lies within!
Hate!, Hate!
The price of a sin!,
Hate!, Hate!
Anthema loves all!,
Hate!, Hate!
The last curtain call...

Mind live at Cambridge Corn Exchange during their Chromosome 13 tour performing Tasteless (off Free Your Mind):

Just a little taster for those who didn't manage to get tickets for the gigs. There are still some left actually though, all is not lost.

Anyway, we've been given immense reviews for The Juggernaut by many reviewers. Of course some we're still waiting for and they haven't reviewed us yet, but they will come. Oh, they will come.

Our new single, Divine Usurper, will become available to download on the day of the albums public release, which is February the 1st. We figured we'd release it since it got leaked anyway, so fair play to you and I beg you my leave, good sirs.

We've got some more lyrics for you here.

The Snake and the Pearl up first.

Guard your riches,
Deface your dead,
Shoot those bastards,
Through the fuckin' head,
Paranoia,
Commiserations,
Ma-an your,
BATTLESTATIONS!

The Snake and the Pearl,
The forest on the hill,
Eerily muttering,
Words of the unreal,
The undead scream out for vengeance,
The alive scream out in pain,
The helpless and the damned now,
Cry it all in vain!

*SPEAKING OVER THE SOLO*
Legum servi sumus ut liberi esse possimus...
Hehehe...
Actus non facit reum nisi mens sit rea...
Let us return to the Mind...
*END OF SPEAKING PART*

One with the Mind,
One with the dead!,
One soul set free,
On the comfort of his bed!
Grrrraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!

Hope you enjoyd that for a taster.

Oh and if you're a reviewer guy, get off your arse and review us. Pretty please.

We've got really good reviews, which is well, ummm... really good. This is a high point if we've ever had one. Thank you reviewer dudes! The feedback we've been getting is great, from reviewers and YouNoob fans who listened to leaked songs. Please though, if you haven't already, review The Juggernaut. We wan't to hear all about it, the selfish things we are.
