If you actually do intend to have a meetup you really need to do it in a city where there are things to do. Speaking from past experience of meeting folk on the internet. |

That, and pubs sadly aren't an option for a lot of the forum either. Which is how most meet-ups I've seen get by, ahah! The logical few at the top of my mind would be Birmingham, London, Newcastle, and Portsmouth. |

There's no legal age for being in a pub in Britain. Drinking in one, yes - being in one, no. And Miley - I'll probably be bringing my parents (I'm not allowed out alone full stop, let alone to go meet a bunch of people I've never met alone) or maybe just a friend if it's in Brum, very few of us will be alone. It makes no sense to come on your own anyway.
And forum meetups don't have to be in pubs. The best one I've ever been to, a few of us made a weekend of it, doing a road trip from Birmingham to London to Lowestoft. I brought one of my best mates from college, a good friend I met before from online, and some girls flew over from Germany and Brazil to meet us. (Strange that none of the Brits came!) We went to see Queen with Paul Rodgers (amazing), and then spent a day just hanging out on the beach. Good times. (: |

I probably wouldn't be able to go as my grandparent would think you're all rapists.I'm probably going to the UK this summer or next and if we all go to London it wouldn't be as creepy seeing as I can't just go "Grandpa can we go to Carthage!" |

I've spent almost enough for a trip to London on a vinyl player, so I've blown up my chances of getting anywhere near the meetup . If I went, I probably wouldn't be allowed to go on my own anywhere (it's one of those trips you make with lots of people around your age, guides and all that stuff). My dad promised to take me and my sister to Argentina and Uruguay when he gets the chance, so if anyone'll be there :) |
I own:

Aye aye :3 Plus we have the advantage of having met Elliot so we know we (likely) will not get raped ourselves :'D Well, at least us 3 are safe and proved as existing entities! I still remember meeting Elliot for the first time, and his dad was like "No worries, just have to make sure you're not a rapist :D" I love Elliot's parents ^_^ |
