I highly doubt anyone followed Chuck Schuldiner around or that he was ever on a major magazine. For all we know Angela Gossow from Arch Enemy has a ton of sex tapes but no one knows because she plays metal. Wut? :D I'm saying, all these female celebrities like paris hilton and lindsay lohan have sex tapes and shit and technically angela gossow is famous but because she palys metal she not so huge that if she made one everyone would know in about 5 hours Aw. :( eh, she okay. Prolly still watch it but overall she okay, kinda hot but more average, prolly she's a 5-6 something like that |

I was half joking. I love country. It's the music I grew up on. When I was four years old my grandpa would always spin his Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, and Hank Williams LPs when I was around. Them be darn gooood memories.
But in all honesty, if I started another band, I'd just play everything I liked. Bluesy stuff, over the top classic heavy metal, hard rock, AOR, country songs etc.

This whole thread kinda sucks because it's obvious: Pop, Pop-rock, pop-punk, rap, rnb, dance as long as you've got a decent producer and an average voice you can make a number 1 in five minutes. Or a 18 year old political message, a fucking awesome tune and an extremely lucky bunch of buggers on facebook ;) |

Awww shucks. And yes, holla at Paul for defending me on the point that I do listen to more than just metal as well. But there's no denying it's my first and biggest love. |

unfortunately, country music is becoming fairly popish. Artists like Toby Keith, Dixie Chicks, and Lonestar are all very very popular and after their first success started to incorporate some pop and/or alternative rock influences, which new country artists such as Lady Antebellum and Carrie Underwood instantly took up as well. In fact, country is becoming so overrated that they are have teen artists like Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift to be called "country artists" so they can garner attention from little children and teenagers. And those artists, too, have garnered very very wide influences ranging from dance, to rock, to even some rap. |
