It has been reported ex-Fear members and Donnavon Rich in The Waiting Room will be delivering more of an ambiet alternative rock album for the bands fith album. The band recently released the fourth concept album "Machines" which was produced by John Smith and the band themselves. The band have found quite some success but are not liking the way the album has turned out. Paul Reeves was quoted saying this: Quote:We worked real hard on it but something is missing from it. We're still going to tour to support it and release two more singles but after that it's onto the next record. I've been finding myself listening to more ambient music and more bands like The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, but at the same time I want to jam out with bands I still listen to like Pantera, Deftones, and Tool. With Logan in the band and both of our love for ambient music will most likely make the fith album our attempt. In fact we have already started writing for it and it's heading into that direction. It isn't going to be heavily based on being ambiet but it will have a mixture of like "The Grey Album" and our most recent album if we had to describe it but it's gonna be better then them two albums. So far it is being called "Darken The Day, Lighten The Night" and we have about 4 or 5 songs complete and one song is called "Radiofrequency". It's unbelievable. Regan has helped a little on the album. Even helped co-write our versions of 3 songs that he has wrote but just never put out. It's turning out great." Paul was quoted saying the new album will most likely be out sooner then you think. |
