arctic monkeys are okay for people who aren't very exposed to them. If you live in like the UK, I hear they are really big and annoying there. I'm American and they kinda bother me, but they were good when the first few times I listened to them. I like their song "Brianstorm", but not much else. |

I have been on this site for a few months, and thanks for the advice... But, I'm not too bothered what some little a-hole who can sit on a mountain and film some snow for a few hours and put it to music says, Babe, we can all do that :)

Great band. New album is unbelievably good, but people don't like it 'cause it isn't indie pop and the words are more complex and mysterious. Okay, I digress, The Arctic Monkeys, while being ineffibly capable musicians to their own standard - ie, abusing the pentatonic major and minor, while knowing few bluesy and melodic modes between in purpose of differentiation - are utterly boring, with all their songs resounding and boasting the same jagged guitar rhythm, cuttingly irritating vocals, and piss-poor attempts at solos in terms of raping but a certain number of notes repetitively, and a lot of slides.
They also look spectacularly 2D as a band unit.
Probably are sold the same way.
