Hey just read from that Feedback link that there's some requested improvements planned. These are planned: 1 - More than 10 songs per album or less than 10. 2 - In game record labels! Much more roleplay interactive too. 3 - Create your own setlists for tours. 4 - get a mailbox for written messages..impossible to keep up correspondance now 5 - Band logo back Whenever you guys see any more updates post them on here. These all sound like great ideas, particularly the setlist and having more than 10 songs on an album. |

If they ever actually happen, I will actually consider venturing back into multiple band territory. Oh boy.

Yeah, set lists sound great. They had that in....*unspeakabley evil music simulation*...and along with in game labels, it was about the only good thing about it. Excellent news indeed. |
_____________ The Black Gates- Progressive technical metal The Infidels!- Retro doom funk grindcore The Graveyard Sluts- dirty, slutty rawwwwk Psycopathologist- old school death grind Everyone is entitled to an opinion, it's just that your's is stupid. |

ha.... its actually got me playing the game again.... heres how im doing so far.... (be gentle) http://www.therockstarga...m/info_user.asp?User=132setlists are a great idea... but only if the songs you choose to play have an effect on the gig in general... Ie the higher rated the songs you use the better the gig goes and the more money/ popularity you get from it... otherwise there is no insentive for people to just not gig none stop to make it up the rankings (instead of releasing albums and singles etc etc)... Back on the old horse as well. (: http://www.therockstarga...om/info_user.asp?user=36The only problem is that it's in February when I should be songwriting. Ah well, maybe I'll come up with lots of nice titles and lyric snippets and artwork to inspire me! |

Welcome back to the grand land of in-game rocking I guess. I actually generally do they opposite and name my songs in-game after songs I've actually written. Yes, The Wicker Man was an awful period for me and lyrics, don't laugh too hard.

I'm mostly excited for the new track number for albums. Same with the setlists. Not really into the record label things, band logos same, and I never really realized that we didn't have an in-game pm system. Guess that'd be cool too. I'd like it if we could release a different number of tracks per single. Cuz I want to have some 4-track singles, and some 2-track singles, etc. Also, EPs would be nice. |

Yes, The Wicker Man was an awful period for me and lyrics, don't laugh too hard. Yeh, I do the same quite often, depends on the artist. Raven Comatose, I usually write at least a bit of the song first. Madbirds, the song lyric would generally come out of whatever's going on with them in RP, to make it look like Kamikate writings. K.I.C.K.A.R.S.E., just song descriptions about mashed potato, thrashed potato, etc. Edited by user 15 years ago

Setlist would be wicked. EP option should go in there for sure too! Also, double albums and greatest hits. You could purchase them in the shop Edited by user 15 years ago

My suggestions: Greatest Hits option Radio charts Other ways to promote albums instead of just "touring" Award Show(s) Platinum/Gold certification for albums and singles Sell more per country basing on real-life sales (for example, the very successful album now a days - 2009/2010 - in the USA is selling 2 million - 3million, in the UK it can reach 1.5 million, in Australia 700k-900k, and in South America 500k, and there you go...) Choose cities to perform tours and maybe even arenas/stadiums/theaters names... Chart trivias (like singer/band with most #1s, biggest jumps, etc...) Hall/Walk of Fame...
