So, my dad just happens to work with lawyers on patent infringement, so he occasionally gets a shitload of expensive stuff for free to inspect, and gets to keep it when all the work is done. Today in particular, he got 5 30 gig Zunes for free, and seeing as he only needs one, I'm now enjoying a long needed upgrade in the mp3 player side of life.

I really don't have a preference when it comes to electronics. Whatever is convenient is the best in my mind.

Some blond probably saw it and was amazed by its "shininess". And that's why apple is on top. Zune looks cool also, but if I were to get a decent mp3 player, I'd probably get the walker because it too has great sound quality, but I like the walker's design better. Ipod touch is just a fun litttle toy to play around with. |

When it comes to an mp3 player I don't want a touch screen, I don't want video or picture support (though this comes as standard now), I don't want it to be tied to one piece of software and to certain formats, with DRM... I want as large a capacity as possible, maybe a colour screen for album art, and I want it to be rugged enough to not be covered in scratches two days after opening the box.
I want a small box that plays a lot of music, through my separately purchased headphones. |

Gee, I sounded like a true Apple fanboy, I think my ipod classic does the trick but I dont like Apple besides huge capacity ipods. |

apple lures people with very limited technological knowledge with its crafty and interesting designs, which I must say, are intriguing enough to even catch a teenage girl's attention, and for the people that are more sophisticated and knowledgable in the arts of technological are mainly reeled in by apple's large amount of memory storage. Honestly, I don't think apple controls and programs are necessarily "better" then that of contemporarys such as Microsoft's windows, but it does appear to be "easier" to use for the n00bs |

Grr, I'm getting itchy feet. I want to record stuff, like NOW - I'm trying seriously hard to push an idea for a song out of my head, save it for the morning, not for the bedroom! ;) Problem is, everyone in the house is asleep, bar myself and Morti, who gets in the mood for songwriting at odd times as much as I do, if not more so - he's so music-mad that he's probably sleepwalked down to his studio to record some more songs. :P
I have had a fucking awful day .... I didn't take my morning medication, and have been very sick and tired all day. I picked up a lot when I took my evening and night meds, and now feel brilliant, wide awake, full of ideas for a new song - in the perfect frame of mind for recording. Why couldn't this have been the other way round!? |

Well I just tried to watch Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed, but gave up after just over an hour because it was so fucking stupid and full of misleading nonsense. And aside from the laughs it raised from the stupidity and intentional misdirection it was pretty fucking dull too. They should watch Michael Moore films to see how to make a partisan "documentary" movie entertaining. |

Yeah, that'll be me. Awesome duo, gutted that they seem to be on a permanent hiatus. The Cold Vein is a great debut record, and El-P's production on that album is up there with what he did on his own second record, I'll Sleep When You're Dead. |
