I don't find that amusing at all. It's how I feel about The Mighty Boosh in general, this kind of "hahaha it's so random" thing people say about it. As for mangina, I'm not a big fan of these modern portmanteaus to begin with but "mangina"? Can't think of many that annoy me more, except perhaps "chesticles". What next, "scrotbum"? "Uterrorist"? "Urethbra"? The one part of that sketch I almost like is that one line about "then why is this hook in my head?" but then it all goes downhill for me immediately into a series of disconnected "random" ideas. And that whole "random" thing as well... People look at things I've written and say it's "random", which I resent. And like Cartman in South Park, people assume that I'm into Family Guy, or The Mighty Boosh, or whatever, because they're so "random" like me, and that in itself really irritates me. I guess the reason I don't like The Mighty Boosh, which might be hard to fathom for some people, is that I simply don't laugh at it. I just don't find it funny. |

I find that the majority of people dislike the Mighty Boosh - fair play, really. But I wouldn't say it's random, by any extent, and neither would they. It's actually written cleverly, rather than just random phrases chucked together. Take a look at Noel Fielding's solo stuff, he's far wittier there. |

Yes, the idea that the Mighty Boosh's humour is any more random than your own is rather nonsensical Paul. It makes perfect sense when compared to some of the drivel I've heard from yourself.
I prefered the first season to the second, and the second by far to the third. But they are still funny guys. |
