That's part of it. It's uncomfortable for me, because it comes from the same place I come from, but it completely misses the mark for me. With that kind of humour, where it's this base level of absurdity, you either laugh or you don't laugh - it's an incredibly thin line. And I find that stuff does not work for me in the way they present it, the way they deliver it. Personally, I feel like Old Gregg would be funnier if it were just "I got a vagina!" And also if were played out slower, with some long pauses. And also if instead of being about a male monster with female genitalia, it was just this really super-frustrated guy sick and tired of people catching their fish-hooks in his forehead, and complaining about all his worldy troubles that would be entirely normal except for him they're happening underwater...

I guess what I'm saying is, if it were more like a John Cleese Monty Python sketch.

Man to Man with Dean Learner is kind of the second series. Not quite as good, but it has its own charm.
