Okay, so my dad and I were talking about this earlier, and I thought it was a pretty cool little discussion so I thought I'd share it with you guys ;)
If some aliens landed in your back garden, and they invited you to go with them into space and see all the great wonders and meet all the great races and would protect you and teach you everything there is to know, but you were not allowed to say goodbye and no one would ever know what happened to you, would you do it? And you could choose, there would be no punishment either way.
I would, sure I'd be gutted about my parent's and everything, but to have that opportunity would just be amazing. I find space and stuff so amazing, I always look at the stars and I wish I could be up there. |

I wouldn't. What if they were all pedophiles tricking me into their van disguised as a spaceship? :P
But seriously, I probably wouldn't go, cuz I'm satisfied here and I'm well accustomed here, and out with these aliens I would have a difficult time adjusting. Also, the best I could do as a job in their society is acting in prehistoric plays, and still I wouldn't do well cuz I wouldn't be acting to me. I wouldn't even qualify for a custodian. Who knows what technology they would use to clean up a floor? And I'd also be the center racist remarks from aliens saying stuff like "We can reach galaxy to galaxy in a matter of seconds with just our mere thoughts alone, and those humans can barely reach their own orbiting moon HAHA!": or "Those humans still have their natural and not artificial moon!?!? HAHA!" lol. All in all, I'd prefer to be here. Of course, I'd have days where I would regret my decision, but I personally think I'd have more regrets if I DID accept thei offer. |

Well depends, if they let me fly around a little before making my decision. I want to see first what the alien society is like. Just a little. If I like it, then I'm sold. We have no idea what their society is like. We can only assume. So that's why currently I'd say no, because what if they have some sort of alien holocaust? |
