Procrastination is the order of the day! Sat down nine hours ago to do some coursework for the law module. I have since created a magazine RP front cover, written an RP or two, left to watch the football, came back and posted on here for a while, and only now, at 2341 am I going to start the work. Good times!

Auditioned for Berklee today, possibly the most stressful thing in recent memory. They make you sit for like 2 hours with nothing to do, and then they give you 15 minutes to learn a 7 minute piece. You get up there finally, and play an original, the 7 minute song previously mentioned, and then must proceed to sight-read a solo, which is part of a 7/8 jazz tune no less. Gah, hoping for the best...

My ex and his friend have tried to drive to Amsterdam. They're currently in Dover.

All under 21, incomplete car legality documentation, and £150 between them.

I have a headache with how frustrated/worried I am. And have blown so much money calling.

I mean, it'll be totally worth it if I get accepted, but yeah, I had no fuckin idea they took it this seriously, although I did meet a seriously talented folky singer-guitarist. Eh, at least I know what to expect for my MI audition on Saturday. I think the real important part for these auditions is to know how to read sheet music, which I'm aware aint too popular in metal, cause they don't believe in TABs.

I'm pretty sure MI is easier actually, Berkelee is like the best music school in the states for instruments like guitar bass and drums.Dude no Tabs that fuckin sucks! Now I have to practice reading notes!I mean I already can I play the piano which teaches treble and bass cleft but I suck at applying it to guitar. The 7/8 solo doesn't seem too bad if I'm given a tempo and the 7 minute song I assume is mainly repetitive.

Yeah, thats why MI is a fallback of sorts. Sheet music has always been a problem for me, cause I mostly learn by ear, and it doesn't always transfer over to paper that easily for me. Yeah, the 7 minute piece was semi repetitive, more of me and this dude who thought he was the next Slash trading solos back and forth over a rather odd pairing of chords. And personally, I just don't cope very well with odd time signatures. I'm a real triplet oriented guy. Don't know why, but triplets just rhythmically make much more sense to me than anything else.

Using only triplets would be an odd time signature too lol.I don't think I'd have trouble with 7/8 it's only one eigth note below standard 4/4.Also, if you go back to Berkelee before returning to the west, there are a TON of potheads, check 'em out.

You take the Chunnel to France and then drive to the Netherlands from there.

Morti's on FAWMSTAR Radio, where the top fawmers get interviewed and get their songs played, and people can call in and say we love your sandwich shop or something. I may call in, all the way from - upstairs. Or go bother him. I'm a media whore like that.
And Sophy probably would throw stuff at Jimmy, she kind of doesn't like him .... in case he hasn't noticed .... :P
