Also, connecting the first A to the A after the middle N, and the C to the N at the end, which seems to balance it better Earlier I was doing one side in photoshop then entirely rotating that 180 degrees and tweaking it for the other, but that wasn't working out too great, especially because I was working on an earlier variation which didn't have the I think the way I'll end up doing it is by hand, making it as big as I can on A4 paper, try and keep the subtle variations and the cool little details on the outlines, then scanning it in 300dpi (maybe 600) and vector-tracing it. That way, it'll be entirely scalable. As for unreadable logos, Dio's is absolutely readable. I was obviously looking more in the direction of black metal, death metal, etc. even though I don't really listen to that kind of thing. Wolfmangler and Dead Raven Choir, those are some spiffy unreadables. |

 So this is the next stage of it, having finally nailed the rotational symmetry. It's deliberately chunky at present so that I can trace it properly in technical pens and draw in some cool kind of crusty metallic kind of a texture. Not sure the edges need to be quite so raggedy, I'll experiment as I move onto stage three. |
