The well known mascot of Mind has decided to take things in his own big floppy hands. Announcing his departure as a mascot from Mind to focus on his solo career, it may come as a shock that this music steers away from Minds furious pounding metal and instead sticks to a mixture of dark, bleak Goth Rock, comedy and Shoegaze.

However one thing is certain. He'll always be dressed in that fucking clown suit. "They're better off without me, if i'm being honest. It probably started when they got someone else to produce The Juggernaut instead of me. Luckily, it payed off, but i'll admit I became jealous and angry. We're still best of mates, it's just that I want to focus on my own shit for now." he said, dressed in a green clown suit, rather than his usual red one.

His upcoming album, entitled Bovicide, will be released indipendantly and will showcase the producing skills of DTEC. The date is uncertain and more tracks are to be announced, but Daniel says he is quite happy with it. "Yeah, it's new and it's fun to work on. I'm ecstatic about it to be perfectly honest. Can't wait 'till it's released." Even though his departure from Mind is unexpected, he has remixed a song of theirs, which shows they're still in contact. "Who knows, maybe in the future, we will rock the world once more."

The first single is to called Liquid Chicken and he states that he chose this because it has the most meaning to him. "Despite it's name and the lyrics, this one has a lot of emotion from me. This was written at a tough time for me, a time when I was addicted to dangerous drugs and the such, and a time where i'd split up from my girlfriend of 4 years. So that sucked."

Can he prevail after all his troubles?
