British alternative rock band Reckoner have decided to leave their label, Suicide Records, after the release of their 4th single Oxygen. We caught up with lead guitarist JC Anderson in a local art cafe in London and this is what he had to say about the issue:
"It really was a hard decision for the band to leave the label, its been our home for the past months and it started our careers from being a garage punk noise trash band to the artists we are today, maybe if we didn't get the chance to enter the label, we wouldn't be the same Reckoner you know today so we owe a lot of thanks to them. We already had these talks with the president of the label, Kieran Marks, since the release of Scream. He already gave us permission to leave the label after the release of our 4th single. We made a peaceful arrangement with him to leave the label and we are still good friends though with Kieran its just that we think we really need to go to another label that would be right for the direction we're heading for, so now we are unsigned, anyone want to adopt us?

V-Records? Really? That's great! Consider us signed!
