Jakey Comatose today revealed that he intends to release his fAthOm's unreleased fourth album, titled 'I, Alone' at the end of the month.

The band split at their peak in 2008, and for a brief reformation for the Madcore Tour 2k9, on which all the bands members excluding Jakey and his brother Jason were killed in a tour bus crash following the final show. At the time, the band showed no plans of releasing the album, instead deciding to leave it in the album unreleased. Today Jakey revealed that he and [lead singer] Syke had agreed to release the album when the time was right, shortly before Jakey was kicked out of the band's reunion line up. Jakey said that he feels the time has come for people to hear the band's final album, and that it will be released in dedication to his band mates. He is aware that many fans have been waiting for this, and also that many will feel that he is doing this to gain money. For this reason, all money made from the album will be donated to charity.

He also said that he plans to play the album in it's entirety at a special invite-only show, featuring other musicians in place of his band members. He hopes that his brother, Jason, the band's guitarist will join him on stage for this special occasion.

Can't wait. I'm down for playing some fathom songs! If thats cool. I use to listen to every album before Casting Thin Shadows would go on stage for like a motivator to go out there and play the show.

Hey guys.

The album is gonna be released through Comatose in early April, if that sounds reasonable? A few invites have now been sent out to the show to a few people who have worked with fAthOm backstage (mangers, roadies, Syke's numerous hairdressers etc.)

Next on my list is - LINE UP! I'm recruiting, if you're up for it, let me know [ooc: Pm, dont post it here]. I'm really interested in the people who have had some sort of involvement in the band's careers, but I'll consider anyone.

Lead Vocals and Synth/Keyboards - Jakey Comatose
Lead Guitar and Backing Vocals - Jason Robbins
Rhythm Guitar and Backing Vocals - Regan Futrell
Bass - Maxxi Starr
Drums - The Face

Anyone who wants to come along and sing a song, too, just get in touch and I might be able to squeeze you in.

The show will be around the album's release date, so early to mid April, but I'm not 100% on specific details, I'll let you know more as I find out about it.

OK everyone, the line up is full now, check back up the page to see it. We've got people from acts as legendary as Blood of Wecz, Thunderwolf, Casting Thin Shadows, Madbirds and uhh.. fAthOm I guess.

I've just managed to seal a deal on the venue, too, but that will all be announced in a few days. It's pretty big news, too, so check this space.

Thanks so much to the musicians who've said they'll play with us, it's gonna be incredible. Anyone who wants to come down and guest vocal for a song or two or just hang out back stage and watch the show from the side, get in touch and I'll hook you up with some passes.
