Part 1! 
HT: What happened with the whole Dreamer thing? You had two albums out. What happened to that sound? Yoyo: I am ready to evolve, So those two albums are now behind me.
HT: So what made you pick a new name? Yoyo: Well I’ve always been called Yoyo. Since I was little all my friends in school called me Yoyo. And the reason I changed my name was because I thought Dreamer was too corny and not me.
HT: So it was recently posted in the site that you hate metal music, can you explain that to us? Yoyo: I hate it. I just don’t like it. I almost don’t even pass it as music. Almost! But that’s just me. And in top of that I really hate the way most metal bands these days swear they are so cool and popular. Since when was metal mainstream? They don’t know what the hell they are talking about. Most of them are fronters. It’s just horrible (and I quote) “music”. And that’s just my opinion. If you love it, I’ll make sure to give you a cookie.
HT: Yikes… Well is there any metal band in particular you don’t hate as much though? Yoyo: They all suck. Like I said I hate metal music. Especially Failed Youth, The Nimrods and all those other wannabes! Ughh, I want to throw up just talking about them. They are all punks who pretend to be these “hardcore” toughies. They are faker than my boobs. Anyway, I prefer female metal bands. If I had to choose I would definitely choose female bands.
HT: Rumors are going around that you wrote for Kathy Mason. Is that just a rumor or….Yoyo: Kathy who?
HT: Ummm…Yoyo: I don’t know who that is and I don’t care either. And no whoever that is, she’s not working with me.
HT: Ok then….When will your first single be dropping. Yoyo: My fans and all the haters can expect my first single to drop soon. The single is called “Automatic”. You can keep checking for updates on my website yoyo.com .
HT: Share with us your love for pop music. Yoyo: I love pop music. It’s really fun and when I’m stressed out, it allows me to let loose. I love to dance so pop music allows me to do that. Pop music is the best! I also love the radio. I would die if my radio broke when I needed it.
HT: Can you tell about the new album? Yoyo: The album is going be about the future but it doesn’t have a futuristic sound. It’s basically an album of dance fun music. But, real dance music that takes a really long time to get tired of. Oh and of course the album has the ballads.
HT: How would you compare yourself to other pop stars? Yoyo: I would say the difference between me and most of the other pop stars is that I can actually sing LIVE! I don’t mime for shit. I rather sound like shit then mime. I also write all my music as well. There are only a few pop artists who do that. I know Stephanie Fierce and Miss Vanity do. I don’t know about the rest.
