Well, it was an absolute pleasure to work with Exit. It's reassuring to know that there are still decent musicians writing quality music on the scene, and the fact that Exit hold me in high enough regard to invite me a long is a really nice compliment. I can't wait to repay the favour when they come along on tour and play, who knows maybe they'll let me guest on this song live, too!

Peace!
Jakey Comatose x

Exit Announce New Album and Single

[color=green]Yep, that's right, we have recorded the new album and it is ready for release. Half the album was recorded in the sunshine in Miami, Florida where we enjoyed sunbathing, swimming and margaritas. Then we were brought back down to earth when we returned to the UK to record the other half. We recorded in Sheffield were we had Trenchcoats, snow and cans of Carling.

Overall we're delighted with the sound of this new album, and delighted at how soon it has been released after the first one(Can't believe it's only been 5 months!). The album is called 'Lesbian Wednesdays'. Don't ask why, it was a drunken idea.

We have a special guest on the first track of the new album 'Shoelaces' which will also be our first single from the album. That guest being the unbelievably talented Jakey Comatose who adds his vocals and guitar.

The single 'Shoelaces' will be released in two weeks, the album in four weeks, but you can pre-order them as of next week. Album artwork will also be revealed next week

So thankyou for waiting, We will obviously be touring the UK very soon and will announce tourdates ASAP.

Love Mike x

Your artworks always make me want to buy the singles! You guys have totally weird artworks, and that's what I like about it, great songs too and I'm sure you'd be nominated in the Birdies...

"It was our pleasure, not yours mate. And we are honestly flattered that you would compliment our work. I'm sure you'll be forced on stage to help us out! Can't wait for the tour to kick off now."

"Haha we try hard to make our artwork weird and wonderful...well, weird. Glad you mentioned the songs as well, 'cause we are all massive fans of your work. And getting any nomination for the Birdies will be a massive thing for us, and I'm sure we'll battle it out with you for best newcomer, amongst other things.
