I don't know how the hell I missed them, but until tonight I'd never heard this band. They're headlining the Saturday of Reading Festival this year, following the Libertines, and woah, I couldn't be more excited. They're incredible! Anybody else a fan? If not, check them out:

i think most people heard of them three or four years ago at least....
but yes i love the first album.
I hate it when people see me at the supermarket and they are like:

Never been a big fan. They're related by association to the Constellation records family of bands, but they're less interesting to me than most of those bands. I guess Akron/Family is about the closest thing that I actually like.

I'd heard OF them, but never actually listened, which is odd :) Gonna try and get hold of Funeral when I go shopping in a minute, I think.
