He is free to wear what he likes but I have never gotten people that get all jazzed up in suits and what not and then go and put on a pair of runners. Could have something to do with comfort perhaps but it looks out of place. Mind you he could have worn worse shoes.

Heh. The shoes always seem to be the area of debate when I throw that picture around (or wear a casual suit). It's a subtle choice I make (for as far as I make fashion statements, mind you). Wearing 'proper' shoes (don't know the English word for it, but you know what I mean) turns the outfit into a rather upper class snob, sneaker make the entire thing more 'down to earth'.

I'm still looking for subtle green (no Irish Leprechaun-green, mind you) to go with my green sneakers. ;)

As for the drugged-up, overweight ninja. The former is often true, the latter is not!
