On 7:25 pm this afternoon, the lead singer for the band The Voyd, Andrew Hayes, was in a head-on collision while driving back to his home near Nashville, Tennessee. It has been reported that while he was driving home in his 1969 SS Chevrolet Camaro, a sticky gas pedal began to make the accelerate quickly. In an effort to get it unstuck he was not paying attention to the road and hit a pick up truck. It is reported that while the truck was going 45 mph, the Camaro topped at least 90 mph but no details on how fast the vehicle was going. The driver in the truck is okay. Andrew, however, was seen unconscious and being airlifted and being checked in to the ICU at the Centennial Medical Center. Andrew was coming home after recording for their new album which is set to be released soon. This new album has seemed to be controversial by the countless times Andrew himself has mentioned that this will change how "people will look at rock stars". More details will come as this story unfolds.
