(OOC - Presented by Genocidal King and Laurelles1 Myself and Laurelles1 have decided to host this innovative and different festival. I think we have had a lot of good ideas so I hope it does well.)

UserPostedImage

Welcome to the website of the inaugural Manifest Festival, the first ever metal only (at least we think so) TRSG festival.

Recent months have shown a surge in metal bands breaking through and really holding their own in the world of music, and we here at Manifest HQ think that there is no time like the present to let all of these great metal bands come together for two days of mayhem, carnage, chaos, and even the odd beer or two!

Manifest will be an innovative festival that will be held over two days (12th-13th june). However, the festival will be indoors, and the live music will only start from 6PM each evening.
Throughout the day, attendees at the festival will have the chance to meet their favourite bands at various meet and greet events (and no doubt at the bar!), as well as indulging in numerous fun activities, such as: metal karaoke, Guitar Hero and Rock Band competitions, tattoo stalls, and many more!

The festival will take place in the Academy, in Manchester, UK, and festival go-ers who buy the weekend tickets will be accomodated in comfortable hotels nearby, which will be reserved fully for Manifest-ers, that means 24 hour bars and partying ALL weekend with other metal fans!

ATTENTION METAL FANS - Announcements regarding ticket sales and prices will be taking place in a couple of weeks time.

ATTENTION METAL BANDS - If you would like to play at the very first MANIFEST, then dont delay, email us now (OOC: PM either me or Laurelles1) and get yourself signed up to be a part of history.

MORE INFO COMING SOON....

OOC: I like the idea of genre specific festivals - way more realistic. I've got no metal artists, but I'll be reading the thread :) sounds good!

OOC - thanks man! I cant take credit for the idea of having a genre specific festival, but I think it could be really good, well I hope it'll be really good.

Katie : Weekend before Mash .... hopefully a good warm up for some of the MMVII bands, just like Aftermash/Aftermath is the cool down. ;)

@ Taylr - yeah Im sure we could stretch to post hardcore, as long as they do a lot of screaming lol

@Bikz, this was my thought exactly. Sits nicely between Coverfield and Mashfest, could be a nice little bridge

I have -
Shadow Of My Former Self and Madbirds doing Coverfield
K.I.C.K.A.R.S.E. and Machete doing Manifest
Moronic Changeling and Madbirds doing Mashfest
K.I.C.K.A.R.S.E. doing Aftermash
1. That is a shitload of typing. I spent four hours writing a 15-minute gig roleplay once, and busted my back headlining the first Mash .... in too deep!?
2. Firecracker 47 are not usually this lazy and are way more fun to RP than the rest (apart from the 'birds), I should switch my Aftermash performer.

RF sadly is not nearly metal enough to play at this festival. I'll be attending though, and if anyone needs a drummer for the fest, ring me up, (OoC: PM) if you want I can even grow my hair out and do some crazy facepaint shit. haha - Adam

OOC: I think geno king has the list, he's been getting the PMs. I'll check up with him about it, thanks for reminding me.

Remember, sign ups are still open! If you're metal or metallic, sign up.
