"No doubt this album was a success, we bought 6 copies for each band member! Just kidding, the album contained awesome songs which may have been the best of The Bards' work which is the reason why I always though this album would be a massive hit, this is one more achievement you guys could always remember even during your retirement years, congratulations!"
-Troy Mascenon(Reckoner/Frontman)

The Coronation
The Bards have announced their 13th album, The Coronation! Which sends The Bards back to a fantasy land like we heard in Lost Kings Highway. The album is said to be released later this month.

This album will feature some songs with Enoch that will surely blow the mind! Marc Rolan said that the longest song is 18 minutes long. "It's just gonna be a fucking great time and experience for us and our fans, it's gonna be epic. The album tells a story, like our older albums did."

FULL TRACK-LISTING

1.The Coronation (10:15)

2.Golden Rose...Feat ENOCH (13:23)

3.House Of Olympia (18:35)

4.The White Tree Of... (9:23)

5.Zion feat...ENOCH (10:12)

6.Cold, Cold, River (8:03)

7.The Dragon Fields...feat ENOCH (16:45)

8.Shadows Of The Past (7:34)

9.Window To The West (8:12)

10.Journey To The Grey Havens (16:45)

MAJOR NEWS ON THE BARDS FUTURE!!!

"We would like to once again thank the fans for keeping us alive for such a long time! But This album SHALL be our last. We realize that we have said this before but this time it is true. Being 50 years old recording and touring is to much for us. Thirteen albums is our lucky number. This album will be one for the books and we agree that this will be a nice way to top off our career.
We of course will keep touring. Our press junket and our intended tour for this album will be legendary. We will defiantly have a farewell tour."

Man, this is finally the last album from one of the best bands in history, such a shame you'd have to leave the industry after years and years of great music..
We here at Reckoner salute you guys for your contribution to the music industry

I never though of Reckoner as influential, if there was only one band worth being called influential, that would be The Bards..

Reminds me of how we went and did our last album with Casting Thin Shadows. Enoch are very talented musicians and I'm glad I'm not the only one who got to work and enjoy working with them. Defintely be on the look out for this!

Don: it seriously brings a tear to my eye that this is the final album from The Bards. as a drummer, i cut my teeth on your early records. just sitting in the basement at 3am jamming along, waking my parents and neighbors, its like a peice of me is dying...or atleast moving away to some private school in the hills.

Brandon: beautiful record and a fitting farewell. there is something surreal about the entire thing. i listened to it today in it's entirety with my big poofy studio headphones and its like this album takes flight...
