Quite simple. They have evolved into a wannabe Sigur Ros band. They haven't always been, but lately they've been going down that road. Certainly not identical, they are still Radiohead, but they've taken more of a post-rock vein.

ah, well now, I guess I kinda see a resemblance with In Rainbows, but I wouldn't call consider them melodic rock like Sigur Ros is. Or at least, quite yet.

I used "Paranoid Android" as a song that is broadly similar to most other songs they wrote, not saying all their songs sound the same. And I used "Glosoli" for the same reason as before.
