After hearing of the DBM Massacre,

Jimmy Him did two things.He cried for 3 hours non-stop and then wrote 3 songs in about half an hour.These songs he put together as a Requiem,or funeral piece for those who died in the massacre.
The First song was entitled Requiem.The song expresses Jimmy's undying fury at who ever caused the killing in the first half with an all out tech-death assault utilizing Jimmy's pitch changing growl.After the first half of the ten minute song the song switches mood to a lament for those who died, half of which Jimmy is nearly crying while singing.This lasts for three minutes.The ending half is another death metal section and has no vocals.However as the last chord is played you can hear the different members of the song reciting the names of those who were injured while Jack Burton the keyboardist plays a funeral sort of piano piece.The last thing heard is the phrase "Get well Raven".
The next song is the all out 4 minute metal masterpiece "Crumbled Crypt".This song is in the vein of Death Metal band Decapitated with a very technical opening and a low heavy verse with Jimmy using his most guttural growl yet.In the song Jimmy utters the phrase "I wish you'd rise from that crumble crypt, laying in the rubble" and obvious mention to his dead girlfriend who was buried under bricks and rubble.The song also is Jimmy's most unique performances because he makes several odd noises not used in death metal like Lord Worm from Cryptopsy.Kit's drumming is also more intense than usual using several different blast beats and extremely fast double bass drumming possibly a nod to the deceased Nick from The Madbirds.
The final song is entitled "Last Lament" and is only Jimmy and Davey using acoustic instruments.The song is 12 minutes long and uses lots of classical guitar solos and bassy passages.Jimmy once again cries in the song and the last word uttered in the song is "DBM ".Jimmy's vocals could be compared to the vocals in the song "Epitaph" by King Crimson and the song has some in common with it.At the end of the song you can also hear Davey shout "Why the fuck did this happen".
In overall the band considers it their best work and plans to use the majority of the profits to help with the Birdies and DBM.Only Jimmy Him had something to say:
"The great tragedy could be referred to as 'the day the music died' in my opinion.It's probably the biggest tragedy in modern music and I am greatly saddened.Please give support to DBM because they need it the most right now.Buy some CDs or shirts or whatever, just do something, this just shows how easy it is to lose a life,we need to give support."
