Legion of the Undead arose from the dark alleys and heavy metal nightclubs of Indianapolis, Indidana with a passion for thrash and and a conquer the world attitude. After playing clubs and bars for years they released their first album, "Born of Sin", which was met quite warmly in the underground metal scene. With their second full length album, "When All Is Dark", they assured their success. After it they continued their relentless touring schedule and made up for lack of radio airplay with an aggressive live performance. Their third release, "At the Gates of Sodom", is a thrash masterpiece, full of blistering solos and raw vocals. Their most recent release, "Eternal", has been their biggest success. After peaking at No. 10 on the charts it has gone gold in the US. After the Eternal Tour the band is gearing up for a tour of Europe and Asia. The band's live album "Live or Dead" has been released and has sold over 400,000 copies within it's first week. The band is currently working on their new album. Our show tonight was equally amazing and we just have to say we have never had this much fun on tour. Hellspawn has been amazing to not only tour with but to hang with backstage too. After our tour with Hellspawn we are doing a headlining tour in May. The first show of the tour which is in Berlin will be recorded for our upcoming release of "Live or Dead", our first live album. After that, we will be playing fewer shows to take time to begin writing for our next studio album. We will keep everyone updated on the release information for "Live or Dead". If anyone wants to join us on our tour in May and are free to play the gigs just let us know. And be sure to check us out this summer at Manifest 2010! The album is entitled "Angel Eyes" and a single will be released soon. "We are so happy with this record so far and can't wait for people to hear it. It really is the best work we have ever done. We are writing on a level that we have never been able to achieve before. The single should be released in the next few days. The song is called "Thorn In My Side". We have played some of the new stuff live already and during our tour next month we will be playing a few of the songs. After we wrap up our Live or Dead tour we will embark on a massive world tour to support "Angel Eyes". We can't wait to see how people react to the new music live." -Lord Hammerspawn We will keep you updated with any and all updates concerning "Angle Eyes".
