No other dye can compare. Unless I need Silver, or pastel shades, then it's Stargazer all the way. It lasts 30% longer than most semi-perm dyes, and it's been two washes and the red hasn't budged an inch. Why do you ask?

Lol, you're putting red over lighter hair, it's bound to fade. Permanent black hair dye fades faster than Semi-Perm black hair dye. It's just how it penetrates the hair is the difference... Semi-Perm hair dyes coat the hair cuticle, whereas Permanent dyes penetrate to change the pigment inside.

With ultra-perm I would have to get it done at a salon, which would cost alot, especially when I'm getting it done down here in LA.

She's also one of my hairdressing subjects ^_^ I had a great deal of fun doing that to her. It's grown out a bit now so she has a little bit of a swept fringe and the sides still shaved and it looks ace :D
