The internet, or at least the murky depths devoted to what has been dubbed "progressive psychedelic stoner metal" (Progpsych Stoner, or alternatively: "really groovy-trippy guitar stuff"), cried out in happiness and confusion. The long-defunct website of Super Highway Techno Buddha was mysteriously updated earlier today, containing the following -rather confusing- lines of text:

Our take? "Explosion" and "Nexus" refer to mind-altering drugs. The dancing around the dolmen refers to either some hippy/pagan ritual of wiccans/hippies dancing around, yes, dolmen . However, if one remembers the origins of Super Highway Techno Buddha, one would quickly recall that they often played in the northern parts of the Netherlands, around dolmen.

So, what can one theorize? We think it might mean we'll have a new Super Highway Techno Buddha album on our hands. Possibly on the Fourth of July, but we think this is either referring to the "Explosion", "nexus" and mind-altering drugs or to Soundgarden's track.

It makes you paranoid, doesn't it? What do you guys think? Let us know in the comments!

Seems there are a new updates regarding the mysterious message on the SHTB website. One of the members of our community Lord Slayer. He mailed me regarding this 'career retrospective' posted earlier today in Rollingstone Magazine. Interesting read, although it does seem extremely well-tied to the mysterious message on the site. Could it be part of a media offensive?
