Legion of the Undead's newly released music video for the song "Daybreaker" was featured on VH1 Classic's Metal Mania last night. The single is featured on their newest album, "Eternal", which has sold over a million copies world wide and has gone gold in the US. The band is touring for the album currently and is getting ready for the release of their first live album, "Live or Dead" and tour of the same name. Here's the video!

The video starts with a shot of a bright orange sun setting beneath a dark sky. The ominous orchestra in the song begins as the night consumes the earth. The guitars and drums begin their descent into heavy metal madness and a shot of the band playing in an abandoned, dilapadated house fills the screen. As the vocals come in bats begin to beat heavily against the sides of the house. A shot of the massive swarm of bats is shown followed by the band continuing their performance. Finally the bats part to make way way for a single bat to become the main focus of the shot and the lone bat transforms into a vampiric sillouette. Shots of the hell outside the house are shown as the band continues playing. As the song builds up towards the guitar solo the boarded up windows burst and the bats swarm the band. The guitar solo begins and King Nothing, the lead guitarist, is playing in what appears to be hell with bats and demons swarming around him. The demonic figures can't seem to touch him, as if somehow repelled by the guitar's ungodly wails. The solo ends and the last chorus begins. The vampiric figure makes his way towards the band and bites Lord Hammerspawn (vocalist) on the neck and as the last words of the song are uttered, the singers eyes burn to life in a fiery red and the video ends.

That was one of the oddest music videos ever. Great effects though.
