San Diego's ELECTRONA were announced as broken up last July, in the studio whilst recording their 2nd album, the 4-piece electronica band formed in 2006, before releasing their debut album in 2008, however the 4-piece are not back together.
also, Orlando's THE ELECTRO THEORY, who formed & broke up within 12 months were heavily critisised for their 'crunkcore' style, combining crunk, screamo & hip-hop, they announced their debut album 'The T32T' (the test) in may 2009, but didn't go to the studio, they announce their breakup in August 2009, after their first UK headline tour, they were succesful in selling out 3 out of 10 dates on the tour. however they are not back.
but, some of the members have formed a band of their own, 'No Other Place' - based in Hollywood, California
the 6 piece Rock-Rap band have announced their exsistance today
'We've been together about 8 months now, we've almost completed an album! however we need to get all you people to know us first'
they have released 2 songs online 'Twenty 2' & 'Glass Teeth' for people to listen to
the band are set to announce summer dates for USA & UK soon, however they say headline tours are 'out of reach untill fall'
