The moment that building crumbled was the moment I became myself again.The building the DBM people were in that is.When Bikki died I thought to myself two things.One of them was "Oh my God my wife is dead." that's an obvious response that anyone would think of. The other was "What a relief,time to find some smack.", that's what a junkie would think.
Bikki always stopped me from going back to my old ways.I remember going weeks without sleeping because of all of the meth use, most of my tattoos are to cover scars from scratching myself after a nice speed binge.I remember the rush once diacytlmorphine aka heroin entered my veins.Orgasmic, actually better than sex.It troubled me at first thinking about my wife dying. Especially explaining to a one year-old that his mother would never be coming back, and having to raise two kids on my own.But as soon as I took a hit from a crack pipe or shot myself up with some sweet liquid,the remorse left.But with every rise there's a crash.
Today I went through my usual routine.I dropped the kids off at my parents' house since I was back in California.Then I'd head to LA to pick up a nice 8 ball of heroin.That would last me through the day, though if I only shot up twice a day it would last me about a week or so.I shot up and felt the rush; my fingers tingling,my penis fully erect from the rush, something called 'dope dick' which usually results in ejaculation from the intense high, I was used to it so I just had to walk around with a fully raised flag.I'm 5'3 though, who's gonna look down?
I went to a vintage record store and picked up a few 0's blues records and some Hendrix, I call that my sad music.Even though I was high as a kite and my body felt amazing, I still felt bad mentally.I left my car parked next to a meter, completely unaware that it was still there, and walked all the way home.I played along to blues and sobbed to myself, at one point throwing up from my retching.On of the songs I was listening to had the lyrics "Ain't no sunshine when she's gone" and that's how I felt sometimes.I don't see how I could be happy and sad about someone dying without be completely fucked in the head which I undoubtedly was, this made me want another fix.I shot up again and kept sobbing, however at this point I was so high I actually enjoyed sobbing like a baby and occasionally throwing up.When you think throwing up and crying is fun,you know you're fucked up.........
OOC:How was that? I'm pretty rusty but I'm writing an essay at the same time as I'm writing this so I guess I was in a creative mood, though some was made up on the spot, I need ot work at it a little more, what do you guys think? |

I woke up at a warehouse next to some blond chick I hardly knew.After getting my shit together and doing a few lines I left the place and went home.I called a few buddies over to get stoned and party with some girls so the day seemed like it would be alright, sadly I'm really stupid.Junkies are so irrational!I got my ass kicked by some fucking body builder who's like 6 foot 8 and on steroids and crack.Not fun.
As I was taking a walk through town I noticed a bar was doing an open mic so I decided to try my luck at just playing some acoustic stuff I had written.I put on my sunglasses and a hoodie so that no one would notice me and grabbed a guitar after shooting up.I played 1 song before everything went bad.I was so fucked up on heroin I couldn't sing right and messed up playing.Everyone was yelling at me "You stupid fucking junkie" I got shit thrown at me and then started punching people.That got me kicked out FAST.All my worst nightmares had come true, I was fucking up at everything.I didn't even care about the kids anymore, just fuck it they just make more problems.I told my mom she could keep them and she was so angry.She made me pick them up and I just dropped them off at a friends house and hoped I could get my shit together.
The next day I woke up at 4 in the afternoon to the phone ringing, it was the police. "Mr.Hetestein?This is LAPD we believe one of your children are in critical condition at the hospital." I was so surprised I yelled then my head began to throb from my hangover. "What do you mean!" my voice was frantic, I felt like I had run a marathon while holding my breath."Their caretaker was attempting to make a batch of meth and their lab exploded with her and the kids in it.2 people were killed instantly in the explosion." My heart nearly stopped. "Who!"I asked, I was hoping, praying that she had her kid with her or something, but nope. "The little girl." the officer said sadly.My daughter, Freyja, just born a few months ago and suffering the same fate as her mother."The boy has several second and third degree burns, though his hands and feet are fine, his forehead is burned as well as part of his scalp. He probably won't make it through the night." I nearly passed out.I told the cop to hold the phone and grabbed an assortment of pills, swallowing them all at once.I was frantic.Yesterday I was happy the kids weren't in my life, now one's gone and the other hurt, I had no idea what was going on.I downed a bottle of Absolut in a minute flat and took a generous fix of smack as well.I sobbed like a baby, I didn't even have the nerve to tell anyone.I could also probably be charged with child endangerment, I took a few hits from my bong an as soon as I let out the last lungful of smoke I passed out. |
