reality tv just got real.

    • The mechanics of Road To Joy are very similar to I'm A Rockstar, Get Me Out Of Here! and Big Member - you know the deal, 14 (give or take?) of you cut off from the world, having to pass tasks to get good food, and nominating and evicting each other.
    • Anyone, male or female, soloist or band member, any genre, is welcome. (OOC rule : Maximum of two contestants per person, and if you do put two people up for it, they can't be in the same band.)
    • Set in The Lodge, a house which is like a luxury hotel .... unless you count The Dungeon (where task-failures go), which is more like a prison.
    • To get far, you have to be a good musician, but it isn't just about music. You need to be tough, strong and talented, with a BIG personality, to win Road To Joy. Being a good friend is required (and being a bitch is even MORE required!), along with (OOC) being a good roleplayer.
    • Run by Moronic Changeling's Nick Biggs, your Matron; Kathleen Kerry aka. Kamikaze Kate, co-presenter; plus one more presenter. (Vacancy here.)
    • The prizes for the winner include being the Madbirds gamma, a signing (for yourself or your band) to Dark Blue Music, a placement on the prestigious Madcore Tour, a luxury holiday home which you can use whenever you like, and - believe it or not - the respect of Kamikaze Kate.
    • The ghosts aren't real. Honest .... ;)

I know that there was some demand for a reality TV show, as "I'm A Rockstar" did so well .... what do you think? I'll be looking for a co-owner/presenter, and obviously contestants. If enough people are interested in this, I'll get it going.

UPDATE!
It has been confirmed that Road To Joy WILL go into production .... what we need for now is -
A presenter to work with Kate. (OOC : Hopefully someone who isn't putting a character into the house. If you want to, we'll also need an independent judge.)
Timing help .... this will take a fair few weeks, so we're talking a start in either May or August, to skip the tour/festival season.
