ooc: Before you saying anything, there is a reason why I mispelled the word tool....

The third installation in the chronicles of horror has been released by death grind super group PSYCOPATHOLOGIST. There is nothing new in what the Pathologist’s do, they are unashamedly old school in their approach and wear their influences on their bloodied sleeve. Mixing in a variety of influences such as early Napalm Death, Nasum, Dying Fetus, Cephalic Carnage, Amebix, Obituary, Blood Red Throne and Bone Gnawer, they add just a touch of modern sound without making it gimmicky.

This time, Rick and Jack (The Black Gates), Derek (Sudan), John (The Black Gates bass tech) and a host of drummers featuring Robert (Mind), Kit (The Nimrods), Dr Hellion (Hellspawn) and Nick (Madbirds) have turned their sickening gaze to the world of serial killers.

1. Toole of the Trade...Ottis Toole

3. Possession is 9/10th’s of You Stuffed in my Crawlspace...John Wayne Gacy
4. Zombies of Apartment 213...Jeffrey Dahmer
5. V-Dub Death Bug...Ted Bundy
6. Butchered in Belanglo...Ivan Milat
7. Fred Loves His Kiddies...Fred West
8. A Grisly Deposit ...John Justin Bunting
9. Demon Dog ...Dave Berkowitz

The release, with the CD casing much like that of a small book, contains a plethora of information on the sick and twisted subjects for the listener to read through whilst the band tear through their tracks. There is a bonus DVD featuring extremely rare live footage from the only show that the band has ever played. Also on the DVD is interveiws with various project members and a light hearted look at the breezy recording process. "Tooles of the Trade" is out now, all across the world, ready to spew guts and gore out of your speakers.

OOC: I was thinking maybe a Carcass reference, although admittedly the serial killer theme is way more original. Just realized I'm currently playing a playlist that just so happens to have all those bands listed under the influences on it, what are the chances?

IC:

Damn, 3 albums straight I've absolutely loved, we definitely need to tour with you guys. Brutal as fuck, great musicianship without compromising shit. I may not be totally up to date on serial killers, but it was sick to recognize a name or 2. Everything's fucking perfect, one of the greatest bands period. Bring the fucking DEATH GRIND!!!

ooc: Yeah, the whole band is basically one big Carcass reference....the name of the band, the second album 'The Sanguine Article', the name of this album (also a bit of a Gorerotted reference...'Only Tools and Corpses', the song titles from the first album, the lyrics and so on.

ic:

I shall be in touch Chris about organizing a few special dates for us two to go nuts over. Not sure what to call the mini tour, if you have a suggestion let us know.

OOC: In fact, I actually have a tattoo of the 'Tools Of The Trade' EP art, basically a smaller version of the one the Black Dahlia singer Trevor Strnad has on his arm, except down the back on my leg, to give you an idea.

IC: Fuckin sick man, but I'm afraid I'm fresh put of ideas for what to call it to. Give it time, maybe I'll think of something.
