It is, but when the mod has seen it, and commented about it...I figured he would have done something. This isnt about just that anymore, each argument just shades over the fact that this whole forum is flat biased, and thats what the problem is. |

I see where you are coming from but ultimately it comes down to the moderating style of the individual mods. Like I said earlier, I'm a mod on a football (soccer) forum, and I tend to let almost anything go, until someone complains to me. I prefer to use rules as a guideline with some flexibility, because I tend to find that the board is more fun then. I would assume that's how the majority of TRSG forum mods are coming from. I can understand why you feel angry about it because you feel that I have been treated differently to you. If it's any consolation, Paul says he's considering suspending me for a few days for causing all this hassle haha |

This was a hassle? The forum was looking like a desert before this. Without arguments and factions this place would be a ghost house. Thats what makes it all suck even more. |

ALRIGHT, ENOUGH.
I am not going to read through however many pages of this crap. Here's the way I see it. Cam broke some rules, which is a suspense-worthy offence. Also, I personally think what he did was dumb and obviously offensive. He fucked up. He will be punished.
The original image was removed upon request, albeit not immediately (because get this: we don't get paid for this, we are VOLUNTEERS, and we don't spend 24 hours a day on the forum). We cannot be expected to deal with everything as soon as it happens, and the way we generally opt to "govern" is to enforce the rules where they are broken, not pro-actively. The forum is just to small for that to make sense. Where we the mods fell down was in not dealing with it as soon as we as a whole (although not all of us where aware it had even happened) saw the image. Now it has been dealt with, so what's the problem?
If you were offended, sorry. But here's the good news: it's over now.
Cam will now receive his suspension. |
