Chimera confirm early stages of 5th album!!!!!

Last month, Hardcore 5-piece CHIMERA released their career-blowing 4th album 'This Concept' that broke 1 million sales earlier this month via their label Spice Records.
This monday they released the 2nd single off that album, 'The Jounrey'
However they have today announced they are in the early stages of writing their follow-up.
On march 19th, they stated:
'well, we have nothing yet, but we are hoping to get a 5th album out in late 2011/2012! - theres rumors we've been recording new stuff, this isn't true! we're gonna use the time off from tours wisley, working on new material, and like we said, that will be the album to boost us to Arena level!'
Since then, they changed their plans a little bit, in the weeks leading up to the UK tour, they have started writing new songs for album 5.
It all started in their practice studio in home town Cardiff.
Writings new riffs, they've now completed 2 instrumentals for the new record.
this is turning out to be the best record we've ever made, it's exciting but we're not going to be concentrating on it too much, we'll be working on it alot in the summer, July/august mainly, re-working these songs too probably, we'll then be hitting the studio early next year after our touring ends in support of this one after about a months break from it all.

Eric: Wow, mid 2011 is a while to wait... but, I'm sure you're taking this time to make sure the album is amazing. If you want to try something different, you could always incorperate classical music or something, like using a background symphony. You don't have to use it for the entire album, but it could make a few songs pretty interesting. I dunno, just a thought. |

It's kinda a while yeah, but we need to work our asses off to beat This Concept! maybe man, we dunno entirley about the album, but we'll gaurentee its better that Concept! -Dan |
